Have you ever been "touched by an angel"?

The first time this happened to me was when I was 13. My Mom had died 3 days before when a neighbor came over to see me. She didn't come to see my 2 bothers or father. She was a good friend of my mothers and shared a passion for gardenning. She told me that my mom had given her some kind of flowers that bloom once a year, but they had not bloomed for several years. She started crying and then said that they had bloomed that day. We had a big hug and then she left. I felt like my mom had reached down from heaven and touched me. I felt completely in her loving presence and totally at peace.

Not sure what you would call it, but when I was pregnant with my eldest 37 years ago.
A friend and I attended a C.R.E.S.T.( Citizens Radio Emergency service teams) meeting, anyway on the way back his stirring arm snapped and we collided with three poles before spinning into the main highway on the wrong side.
They had to snap the bolts of the bench seat to get us out, we were taken to Liverpool Hospital, and underwent a full examination.
The Doctor said to me, you are so lucky that the passenger in the back had hold of your shoulders.
There was no one in the back seat but I had two perfect handprints on the front of my shoulders that remained there for48 hours.
It was so very spooky, I still get goosebumps thinking about it.

Yes. I believe so. Once. If not an angel, a stranger surely used by God.

I shared it in detail years ago here in SF. He wasn't a pretty flying winged female blond caucasian. No. He was dark skinned in casual clothes like you and me. He appeared out of nowhere, no car around except mine, in a remote area while I laid on hot asphalt in 100 degree weather in the sun, badly hurt with multiple fractures, and unable to move. He lifted me up and I didn't feel it. He had a warm pleasant smile the whole time, calm, and confident that he could help me as I shared my doubts. I believe he saved my life. He got me to safety and disappeared around a corner.

Earlier in the day there were 3 separate incidences from strangers that made me strongly feel God's presence. Very obvious.

I believe I was touched by an angel the day my "adoptive" mother acquired me along with her husband. I couldn't have asked for a better mother. They were actually my grand uncle and his wife.

In a similar experience to your own Paco, my late DIL's nephew who just lost his mother said a red heart balloon floated around him then finally landed at his feet, yesterday, the day after his mother died. He posted that she loved red hearts and used them frequently in her FB posts. He felt that the balloon landing at his feet was a sign from his mother.

Happens when you least expect it and, when it does - keep it to yourself. Otherwise you spoil the spiritual flow.
.
I have heard of this, and practiced a form of this in my "buddhist" training. When we had "breakthroughs" into understanding the universe we were told to keep it secret/not express it or the power of the insight would dissipate. I I think I know what you mean. Sharing a spiritual experience, if it is self serving, will definitely dissipate. Even what we want to believe is a "spiritual" experience will re integrate with the ego. The experiences many have had do not lose their significance. Mine have remained the same over 50 years.

When I was 19 I had a dream that my mother was coming from heaven to be with me. I was on a bridge that was over a gorge filled with people in agony. She was getting closer and closer and I could hear her saying "You are on the right path." ( I was reading "The Aquarian Gospel of Jesus Christ" ) Just before my Mom got very close there was a knock on the door at about 2am. It woke me and the person was looking for my room mate. He wasn't there so the guy left. I was transported into a world where I could see angels around me and they were "singing" this beautiful music. The room glowed in their presence.

I had a dream once, I was dead and instead of being sent to the Underworld, the Lord sent me to an unknown Desert to perish in scorching desolate pain. That enlightened me to write this.

Desert image

Counted 40 days and 40 nights,
Though I know it's only been a day.
No water, unclothed, the sweat burns,
My throat, strepped, I wilt away.

I crawl to find a shade to rest,
Or should I say a shade to die.
Breathless, burning, this is Hell!
Oh Lord, please tell me why?

I pause ahead, detect a form,
An illusion, a desert image.
It glided closer to my eyes,
Quite certain a strange mirage.

A vacuum of heat crushes my chest,
My life and death are now merging.
The vision was now embracing me ---
"Do not fear, I'm the Blessed Virgin"!

Years ago, at least 35, I drove to my mother, picked her up and off we went to the Cemetery to "visit" my dad and her mom. While exiting for the bridge there was a loud POP and I lost control of the car. Someone else not visible to me steered the car safely to the shoulder. Was a sudden tire blowout. It happened.

After being fixed, don't remember if roadside or towed, we didn't continue on to the Cemetery, we had a nice lunch instead. To this day I can remember seeing the steering wheel turn on its own and feeling the strength of whatever force it was doing it. I always felt it was my dad.

Should I delete this? Sounds stupid.

If I ever get an angles touch I sure hope it is obvious to me. Otherwise how would I know?

@Alligatorob It rarely happens in someone's lifetime if ever.

But you will know if it does.

They appear suddenly and with a purpose...a good purpose.

When the purpose is accomplished then they disappear quickly

not like a puff of smoke...more like, you turn around and they're gone...nowhere around.
