Have you heard about floods in Alaska?

Well I found out on fakebook about it.....seems it is really bad up there, but I have
never seen a single story on the news channels about these floods and damages....

No, I heard nothing.

Here are 2 sites with info. This happened early in August.

What more does the planet have to do to warn us that we are heading for serious trouble because of our reliance on fossil fuels?

Meanwhile, down in the Antarctic, the ice shelf melted before the emperor penguin chicks had fledged. Their downy feathers are not waterproof and thousands of them have drowned. If it happens again next year their numbers may fall to disastrous levels and they may become extinct.

Compaired to the global/daily eruption of volcanoes mankind has almost no affect on the planet.

To believe otherwise is just drinking the tree-hugger Kool-Aid.
