Forget Donald Trump's hair, how might plastic surgery affect poll results?

Surely by now we've combed through every strand of possible Donald-Trump-hair jokes. Oh wait! Just one more! Someone recently said his hair looks like a "flash-frozen Orange Julius."
There, now we're done.
But Trump has had that questionable coif since he bought it -- I mean, since forever -- and it hasn't really been a factor in his poll ratings one way or the other. On the other hand, if people were to think his 'do was buttressed with Botox, that might be a problem.
According to a recent survey of about 400 registered voters, conducted by RealSelf via Google Consumer Surveys, a significant number of people indicated they'd reconsider their voting choices if they heard -- just heard, mind you -- that a candidate had undergone an elective cosmetic procedure, whether true or not.
It seems 21-percent of male voters would reconsider supporting Hillary Clinton if they heard she'd had a facelift (not that she has -- this is hypothetical and has never been revealed in any of her e-mails, unless it's the ones on her personal server ...). Female voters were slightly less harsh, with only 14 percent saying they might change their votes.
Judging candidates and public figures -- and even your "friends" on Facebook -- according to appearance is nothing new. But this might be more evidence that some Americans are just as shallow and stupid as we think they are.
