Height - Then & Now

How tall were you at your tallest and what are you now? It seems most people‘s height will decrease as we age.

I didn’t have many inches to start with. It was 5’ now it’s 2” less. I can’t afford to lose anymore.

Edit: If willing, adding your age may help.

I’m 72 and didn’t start losing the height until in my 60s.

I'm 68. I went from 6' to 5'11" seven years ago. I remember reading that it's due to spinal compression with aging.

'Tis a funny thing...I had that exact question on my list...I used to be 5'4" but over the past ten years living on the Prairies... I have lost 2"...everybody looks down at me...I can't see over most of the horses now...have to hem up slacks, long skirts, etc. At least I am not hunched over! I think I should invest in shoes with higher heels. I blame this on Country air. As for age, I am in my eighties...somewhere!

I think if I was in my 80's and 5.2'' I wouldn't be too upset...although that said, now the youngsters are all Giants ..:ROFLMAO:

I am 5' 4 1/4 ". I have not shrunk yet and am 61. I stretch everyday. Don't know if that makes a difference in my height, but makes me feel better. 🙋‍♀️
I took a medley of dance classes five afternoons a week throughout all of my sixties and we had to stretch before every class so yes, stretching makes one feel better. I called these classes 'my get-a-way time just for me.
