Hello. My name is Dorothy and I am 57 (hard to type this number) and not very happy about old age. Hello to everyone.

Hi Dorothy , and welcome.

Old age itself isn't a problem...it is what goes along with it!

Hi Dorothy, welcome to the forum! You're a still a spring chicken, lots of us are older than that! Just keep in mind, we shouldn't complain about aging, many are denied the priviledge. ;) :welcome:

You AND your little dog, Dorothy. Welcome.

Welcome Dorothy, from another youngster!

I'll be 56 in March (I sound like a little kid, I know).

I look forward to tales of Florida, since I want to move there someday soon.

Hi Dorothy, I'm from Florida too. You're younger than me... I just won't say by how much. Glad you've joined us. :partytime:

So Dorothy, you've just joined a seniors forum and now you are 57.
How old would you be if you hadn't joined?

Forget age and ageing and just hang on for the ride.
Welcome to the rollercoaster of the rest of your life.

Hi Dorothy. I do have a question for you though, what makes you think 57 is "old age"? I think old as being 93 like my mother or 100 like her cousin.

When I was twenty, sixty was OLD. Now, I'm in my sixties and accept that I am old. Young at heart, yes. But very old in bones...

I have some health issues that cause chronic pain, so I 'feel' old often. That's about it.

When I was 20, 40 was OLD.
