Hello I am a newbie

My name is Annette from southern FL (West Palm Beach area) but currently visiting family in Ontario and Michigan. Brrrrr! I am a single semi retired lady who has spent the last 40 years working as a nurse. I found the forum while looking for suggestions on desirable locations to live on the Gulf Coast of Florida. Looking for rentals that are affordable. Palm Beach County, FL real estate has gone up tremendously in the last 2 years. Any suggestions?

Welcome Annette! I can't help but have a brother and SIL living in Miami and of course their expenses are pretty high. She is retired but brother is still in law enforcement. They would like to move somewhere else more affordable when he retires.

I was researching the west Gulf Coast of Florida not too long ago too. I liked Naples because of the Arts community and general vibe.
