Recently, when my anxiety gets too high, such as today,
I force myself to take out the adult coloring, and I am surprised that it helps, as it did, today too.
Over my lifetime, I had always done only original craft projects, or creative art of my own designs.....but those have not been possible for me to continue, for a myriad of reasons.
So I finally got some adult coloring materials for myself, and weeks later, I finally got myself to try it, and it does focus my thoughts,.... on the choosing of colors, color combinations, and then, just doing the strokes. I can manage to hold on to the colored pencils, for longer than I sometimes could.
I have some fat-handled crochet hooks, that I could try, also.
