Hey, how's it going today for you? It's 2023. An alternate thread for different people.

I mastered enough of the CAD system I've been learning to do some design with it. I designed a mortising jig already and now I'm designing a coffee table that I'm going to build next month.

I'm using FreeCAD for anyone who might be interested in using a CAD system. It's a little buggy, but it works when you learn the workarounds. It's only version .20 so I knew what I was getting into when I chose it. It's 100% free with no advertisements and fairly easy to use, so it fits my needs.

I do get a strong allergenic reaction to ragweed pollen like a lot of other people, but this pine tree pollen is different. It is so thick that it resembles fog and coats cars and just about everything else with a coating of greenish crap that sticks to things like crazy. I use my battery powered blower twice a day to blow what I can off the porch and patio before it gets tracked into the house. Fortunately, the season only last 2 or 3 weeks. The individual pine tree pollen particles are so big that they get into your eyes and feel gritty.

Still this heavy pollen is easier to deal with than heavy snowfall like that hitting much of the country this year.

LOL, I did enjoy my haircut and feel a lot "lighter" now.

Wow that pine tree pollen sounds awful! What a big job it must be cleaning it up. Yeah it's some concilation it only lasts 3 weeks but still..yuck! We get some disgusting stuff around here too but not as bad as that.

Today I’m so grateful that my father in law appreciated the hand painted ‘Thinking of You” card I made him. He even appreciated the poem I wrote to go with it or so my husband tells me. He’s got cancer and I don’t know what to say. 🙁

I painted 3 kitchen cabinet doors. Yawn! ‍It’s super boring but so much cheaper than buying new ones.

It's wonderful to find things you enjoy! I've never tried line dancing but it sounds like it's a lot of fun 😊

Thank you Ruthanne. I think you missed the thread where I posted samples of the songs we are working on for my next album. The songs are mostly arranged on my instrument then my son puts in an incredible amount of time on each song doing engineer stuff after he transfers them into his digital music production program. After we're both satisfied with the basic song components, including levels, what side each instrument will be heard in and the effects, he does the final mix and mastering. I had him compile these "snippets" of 5 of the songs. I'm hoping to put at least twelve on the album. I hope you enjoy! :)

Another Saturday where I thought I wouldn't do much. Ha! Overnight the ice storm came, laid 1 inch of ice, then 3 inches of heavy snow on my vehicle. Cleaned it off, fixed my dinner, ate, vacuumed throughout the home, mopped kitchen and bathroom floors, called girlfriend in England to chat for a half hour, then back outside to make my snowman before the snowpack melted too much!

Now, feet up and relaxing, I've earned it today.

Just being lazy, I have cooked finally, so when I am ready for dinner I can just warm it. I slept well but I still feel sleepy. In that I have decided to change the bed linens that should have been done earlier in the week. While I am in there I guess I will dust and vacuum. I would really like a cleaning fairy to show up and do it all.

Does anyone else have trouble getting chores done. I know I used to whip through the house and get everything done in short order. I always carried a plastic container with all the cleaning supplies, dust rags, paper towels etc, so I had what I needed with me as I went from room to room. Now I feel accomplished if I just get a room or two done every couple of days. How does one person (and 3 dogs) make such a mess so fast? When I had a full house it seemed easy and now I feel like I am being tortured to keep up! Whine Whine Whine! Okay, I am going.....

I’ll be studying my part in The Mikado whenever I can during our travels…having zoom sessions with the cast members and the director, and then by the grace of God will be back to rehearse with the full company for two weeks before the first performance.

Hiya, it's Tuesday 7 March here at 01:16...

I've had a tough end of day. I tried to find the radiator keys AND the Gas Box key (which is outside in the patio area) to absolutely no avail.

Around midnight, I went onto my BG Account to send them either a feedback form with my request for help in getting said missing keys or an actual email address. I'd tried one email from a recent contact from them, but it said blah, blah, blah, we won't do anything with this. Gee thanks for nothing, as usual... Argh!

Then I found a litany or if you prefer a plethora of phone numbers all useless at this time. Big surprise there, hey we can't be bothered. Am I right? We have to give them everything short of a blood sample but them. OHN!

So, I feel just as my Tarotscope predicted for March. Abandoned, alone in organising my affairs ... Something I'd hoped to have tackled with hubby back in 2022. He kept me calm and collected as with anything important these days, I just panic!!!

It's unfair to find so many companies and governments want close to the kitchen sink, but they can't be bothered to contact you, simply saying: "Hey, we've received this, don't worry we'll get in touch within.., such and such a time and this is how it works...

Funny that in the years I was working for them, the countless acknowledgement of receipt letters I typed. I guess since I've left rules changed and now it's sit at home and fret waiting and waiting until they decide it's time for contacting you.

Man, sorry y'all but I'm struggling with stress worries and fretting mad, my only comfort my beloved daughter and kitty cat.

I had to get this off my chest... As Papa used to say: "write it all down, you'll put a plaster on the pain..."
