Hi Everyone. Thanks for the warm welcome. Sorry for the late reply. I could never find this thread on my intro until now. You all sound like... well... warm people. Some of you asked about YOCHI. It is fairly new. The best way to describe it is similar to Tai Chi except you get a good workout. After that you do a mental exercise (brain teaser of sorts), and then you plan your Purpose for the day. Your purpose is what two small thinks you would like to accomplish for yourself, your family, your friends, and then one small good deed for society (which could be as easy as holding the door open for others). Because there are no weights involved it is easy on my joints (a must for me), and you would be surprised at how your life changes when you accomplish your small goals for yourself and those dear to you.
The author is Scott Waddell (book sells on Amazon) and he too lives in Dubai which is where I met him. He explains that YOCHI is meant to be a catalyst to get you to do bigger and better things. A tiny example of how it worked for me is that one day I decided that my goal would be to connect with others on the Internet and sure enough, here I am! I also stay in touch with family members and friends much more.
I don't want to go on like I'm a salesman but you know how things are when you're excited about something. If you have any questions or want to learn more about this unique Dubai, feel free to ask. My goal will be to navigate to this thread again.
Keep well everyone and looking forward to hearing from you.
