I don't know who she is..or if she suffered from any long term illness.. but when I saw the report in the media of her death I was struck by how old she looks/ed for her age.

Same age as me.. I'll be 71 in 3 months time.... but she looked much older.

Often in the past I've seen people who age very badly.. and died relatively early, and I've always wondered if the outside of your body, mirrors the inside...

meaning that if your face looks 20 years older than you are, then perhaps your organs have aged in the same way, hence what might seem like an early death !

May she R.I.P

My favorite movie of all time... Home Alone

Bboth Catherine O'Hara and John Candy were Canadian actors who gained fame through their work in comedy, particularly with the Second City troupe and on the television show SCTV. They shared a close friendship and collaborated on several projects, including the film "Home Alone."

I guess I had a bit of mental telepathy this morning because when I was in the shower I was thinking about how many great singers/actors we have been losing and was dreading hearing about the next one. I was in the gym and saw Catherine O'Hara's death on TV. I was crushed.

She typically chose funny, quirky characters like in Best of Show and Schitt's Creek and she was hilarious. One of my favorite actresses gone too soon. RIP funny lady.
