Hope you're getting better, Hollydolly.

I just got a nice email from Holly, which I copied and posted under the Hot Topics thread. That has a long string of responses, so I suggest that we keep discussions on this topic there, just so we don't have two different threads going about it.

Holly sounds very gratified that so many people here are expressing their care and concern. I think it's particularly nice that it's coming from so many parts of the world. So keep the notes coming, friends. I'm sure it's very important to her.

@Sunny any updates??
Fritz, check the thread about Holly in the Hot Topics section. Starsong received an email from Holly which she posted to share with us. I think it's note #133, . There's a lot of discussion in that thread.

I haven't heard from her yet today. No idea if she has any help at home, I certainly hope so. She did mention a community nurse, which I gather is some sort of visiting nurse. I don't know how often those visits are. I have no idea where her daughter lives. I know she was with her for a day or two after the accident, but had to get back to work. It's frustrating living so far away from someone I consider a good friend, but unable to visit or help her.

She did say something about the stronger pain killers they were (finally) giving her not being that great, but they did make her sleep a lot. That may be the reason I haven't heard from her today.

Hope you feel better today Doll.
Pain can be tolerated if you can move around and figure out ways to help out.
If you want to do something, think a bit about it, don't give up. Just plan for a bit.
Our mouths aren't exactly our right hand, but it can be a thumb and a couple of
fingers. No one will bad mouth you. Amazing what we got when we figure it out.
