Forum member seriously injured

Adding my prayers for Holly’s recovery also. This would mean that she now probably does not even have a vehicle anymore either, since it was destroyed in the accident. I am hoping that her daughter is there and taking care of her mother as Holly recovers.

Dear Holly I'm very sorry to hear about your accident and hope you recover soon and get back to the forum!!!
I just read now about your accident, I'm not to much on the forum since I'm busy with my garden and flowers.

I'm really very scared to drive because lately there are so many car accidents every where just because there are so many "crazy high speed" drivers that don't care. On the weekend I heard of a high speed driver who run into another vehicle in the town where I go for my shopping. One of the driver was killed! This is happening almost every day now.

Wanted to let you know Holly has had some complications. She wrote:
"10:50pm just got home from the hospital. Serious infection in the back of my right hand where the are several chunks cut out of it. My right palm was shredded and plastic surgeons had to repair and inserted 27 stitches..while I was in hospital the night of the accident 6 days ago They cleaned the back of my hand but no stitches,then dressed it.

"The pain has been progressively worse since then, so today I was in such screaming pain I went back to hospital where they discovered that despite being heavily bandaged the back of my hand was very infected. The pain was off the scale tbh"

Please keep her in your thoughts and continue posting your well wishes. She reads this thread and says the wonderful support here helps keep her positive.

I understand from my own experience with an auto accident what you are going through. Please take it slow & easy. It helped me to move around, but I found out not to over do it. We want your healing to move forward.

If this accident were in the news here, it would be described as “not life threatening.” They always use this phrase unless you’re dead. This accident has just changed HD’s life, so it is life threatening for her. Everything has changed.

Good morning, Holly... I see you peeking in here! I hope you have someone to help you around the house, especially with your pain issues and your hand not being usable at the moment. Just do everything you can to make your healing as rapid as possible. Don't make me have @oldman pick me up and fly me over there to make sure you're behaving... I'm terrified of flying! (Saw ya smile, yep, I did!) The SF candle will remain lit until you're back.
