Forum member seriously injured

Just received this from Holly, and I thought I should share it with all her friends. There's another thread in General Discussions, but this seems to be the main one, so I'm putting it here. She included pictures of the flowers from the insurance company and a nice note from them, but I wasn't sure how to copy and paste an attachment from one post to another, so I skipped that part of it.

But I wanted you all to hear from this amazing woman. I'm looking forward to seeing her back here herself, but in the meantime I'm happy to be the email go-between. Here's Holly:

Hi, thanks for your good wishes and checking on me, and from everyone on the forum, such beautiful posts, flowers, and wonderful wishes, I read them.. even a little dog, and a poem, ... how sweet... no not feeling too well. Painkillers are not working very well just putting me to sleep mostly... bruising is over 90 % of my body, I'm not a person who bruises easily. Can't answer the posts on the forum yet, as I;m dictating to text by email, but am unable to do that on the forum. Please tell everyone who sent me Private messages that I will get around to reading them when I can, and thank you so much...

Today I got this enormous bunch of flowers from my Car Insurance company which I've attached to this mail... haven't been able to arrange them properly due to not having the use of my right hand.. but how thoughtful of them... and the excruciating pain in my rib cage...🧡

Holly, so sorry to hear you're in so much pain. That excruciating ribcage pain probably means a broken rib. I broke one coughing a few years ago and the slightest movement would make me scream. The good news? It healed really fast. I'm hoping the same for you on all your injuries.
 
I know you are in pain, and hope that you heal quickly, Hols. In fact, I'm counting on it, as you are a feisty one ;)

Meanwhile, I hope you are able to keep as comfortable as possible. I'm sure it is frustrating for you, being as active as you are.

As you can see, you have a lot of support and love .. so, get well soon, and get back here as soon as possible!

That’s exceptionally nice of the insurance company. A very rare gesture.

Save the photos to your computer and then just upload to here as usual.
