When my friends wife get angry he sometimes grabs a piece of her clothing she tears holes in his clothing. Now the joke is on her because torn clothing is the new fashion rave. He can wear his torn jeans and shirts in comfort and he doesn't have to shop. It cost money when people decide to destroy property I don't think this type of behavior is right at all, Fashion or not
 

We call torn jeans "ragpicker jeans". That is what they look like.
