You know, I think I've about got Christmas wrapped up. Ha. I've picked out a gift for each child and only need to have them sent. Amazon will even wrap them for me. The little trees are up on both levels, twinkling and genuinely bringing cheer. The first thing I do in the mornings is turn the tree lights on.
Candy canes (I love candy canes) are on their way with a grocery order and I'll put them on the trees.
We know what we're having for dinner and, much like Thanksgiving, it will be a relaxed and delicious affair.
I'm doing a stocking for son who lives with us; my usual candy of various kinds wrapped up and stuffed in the stocking. And... that's it, really.
Usually I don't like Christmas (and still much prefer Winter Solstice), because of the gift stress.
No one puts stress on me about it, but it happens anyway. But this year, I think we're good. Freaking fabulous. I can relax and enjoy the pretty tree lights. And the candy canes.
Wishing a stress-free, twinkly Christmas to everyone. (Or a relaxed, crowd-free day, if you don't do this day. )
Edit: I mean, do I even need to say? :/
