How are you today?

@Medusa Can't post pix of the necklace because it's not done yet...jeweler said end of the week.

I did post pix of goofy Grinch t-shirts for DS and his husband over on the What Have You Bought Recently thread. They're hilarious :ROFLMAO:
Just saw it; super cool. I love The Grinch. c7fce83287ae91b82156007094c0e1ca.jpg

Both husband and I are flummoxed by these new airpods. Supposedly it’s easy to adjust the volume when wearing them. I can sometimes make a little bit of volume change. This is the first time neither one of us bought directly from Apple. I’m not sure what kind of support Walmart will give.
@Jules try turning up the volume on whatever device you have the airpods connected to.

if you turn up the sound settings on whatever device you are connecting your airpods to, it should allow the airpods a greater range of volume and you can then use the airpods' sound settings to turn the volume up or down. :)

Thanks, Trish. I’ll try it that way.

Thank you, Trish. This helped. I’m still not very skilled with the earbuds. It’ll come. I love how they go quiet when I or someone speaks to me. My husband always decides to have a conversation just as I’m walking out the door.

You know, I think I've about got Christmas wrapped up. Ha. I've picked out a gift for each child and only need to have them sent. Amazon will even wrap them for me. The little trees are up on both levels, twinkling and genuinely bringing cheer. The first thing I do in the mornings is turn the tree lights on.

Candy canes (I love candy canes) are on their way with a grocery order and I'll put them on the trees.

We know what we're having for dinner and, much like Thanksgiving, it will be a relaxed and delicious affair. :)

I'm doing a stocking for son who lives with us; my usual candy of various kinds wrapped up and stuffed in the stocking. And... that's it, really.

Usually I don't like Christmas (and still much prefer Winter Solstice), because of the gift stress. No one puts stress on me about it, but it happens anyway. But this year, I think we're good. Freaking fabulous. I can relax and enjoy the pretty tree lights. And the candy canes.

Wishing a stress-free, twinkly Christmas to everyone. (Or a relaxed, crowd-free day, if you don't do this day. )

Edit: I mean, do I even need to say? :/

Grrrrrr. I just got a string of emails from Amazon. I have nearly a dozen gifts that are supposed to arrive today via the USPS, and just about all of them, save one or two, are delayed. The frustrating thing is, Amazon said that if they don't arrive by December 10, they'll issue a refund. But I don't want a refund—I want my grandchildren's Christmas gifts so I can ship them out myself. (Shopping in my area is not good; it's very limited. I buy just about everything on Amazon.)

I'm well aware that this is a first-world problem, and I'm trying to maintain a sense of persepective and not get annoyed.

But what's really irritating me is that, according to USPS tracking, the items are already here in town. The delay is said to be due to the weather. But today it's 41 and sunny! It's tomorrow that the horrendous weather is supposed to hit (2025 - How's the Weather Where You Are?)

Rant over. I'm off to take a deep breath and appreciate what I have.

I ordered masks from Walmart and waited over a month for them to arrive from Hawaii.
