How Do You Bathe?

I am a 5 mnute shower person every day and sometimes twice, my hair ever two or three days cause it takes longer.

shower. my record is 2 minutes. my wife says I dont wash myself properly. My response is that I save water.
I alway thought my 5 minute shower held the record. I do admit that I don't dry my feet, it is to difficult to bend over. Sometimes when I bend over I just fall on my face. lol

I usually take showers, just a bath once in awhile if I feel the need to relax my muscles, I also like epsom salts, lavender oil and bubbles. When camping I boil water and take a cat bath in the sink.

We bought a walk-in tub about a year ago. I love it. It even has an extension so you can hold a shower head while your sitting down. It also has jets in it that help a great deal. So I soak for awhile then use the shower holder to rinse off and wash my hair. I do this at least once a day.bubbles-in-walk-in-tub-lg.jpg

When I saw that photo, all I could think of was: "Hmmmm....if that door started to open....

Showers. If I tried to get into a bathtub, I would never stand up again. I find I prefer showering in the evening, especially in the summer, as I feel more comfortable to sleep. I will often wash up during the day as well.

Took baths for decades, got down on my knees to wash hair.

For last 20 yrs +/- I only shower. Love the Tilex spray and walk away for clean up.

For safety I had a strong grab bar installed.

Wash face and freshen up at sink.

The shower
Love it

The bath
Not very into bathing in my own filth, as a rule

Enjoyed it when we lived in the woods

Something about mountain air, seeing the sky, feeling the breeze, when bathing

…aaand it knocked most the dirt off a hard day

I love my bath. I love lying back and adding extra hot water every so often so that it never grows cold. I can read in the bath or listen to the radio. I have one just about every morning and only substitute a shower if I am in a hurry.

A hot shower is therapeutic for my old bones. I have not used a tub in at least a decade.
I got severe sticker shock when I looked up the cost of a walk-in tub. It won't happen.

I love a good bath! With fragrant oils in it and bubbles. Something like what Warrigal does. I also enjoy a good hot shower at times but prefer a bath. Still, I do the sink bath a lot with my fragrant bath gel poured into the sink. I just soap up and rise several times. I don't know how I got into the habit but maybe when my knee was too bad to get into the tub.

I prefer baths cuz I like to soak when I'm hurting but it's become too much of a hazard to get out of the tub. I'm afraid I'll fall or something. So I shower now. I only sponge bathe when I'm too ill to shower.

I can't remember the last time I took a bath. I shower in the morning and and before bed. When I was working, I also showered as soon as I got home from the hospital. In the summer, if I've been working in the garden or out playing with the dog, I'll shower then as well.

.
A shower a day but in the hot weather two showers. However since I was little I have always admired Cleopatra, so occasionally, I have a luxurious soak in a bath of goats' milk
