How Do You Start Each New Day?

When my feet hit the floor, I grab my glasses and head for the computer. I turn on CNN on my computer to see the world is still on the right axis, briefly read the headlines, then make a cup of tea. Afterwards I head to the bathroom, brush teeth, shower. I seldom dress or make coffee until my roommate gets up anywhere between nine and ten a.m. Once in a while a little earlier or later. I then make coffee. Then she will make breakfast or brunch. I dress, check my oxygen, ready to face the world. Sometime I go to the front door and growl a time or two.
hahahaha..that growling is funny~

1. Urinate
2. Let Dino out.
3. Pour a mug of coffee.
4. Let Dino in.
5.Start reading the daily newspaper.(Especially the obits.)

6.Put fresh water in Dino's water dish.
7. If nobody's nearby, I may even flatulate.
8. Check to see if the lady next door is wearing a bra while raking her lawn.
9.
8. Open a window and turn on a ceiling fan.
9. Then throw out the rest of the beans.
10. Check with you later.

Get up early around 4 am
i don’t brush my teeth unti after breakfast

first thing I do is let Pickles out, while he’s out I get my coffee, get his water and food and then sit down with my iPad to drink my coffee.

After my coffee is finished I make my breakfast, get back on my iPad to eat that.

After that I shower and brush teeth and get ready for going to Curves...but today

I have a fasting blood test...ugh.

They don’t open until 8 and it’s only 5:19 am now....I can manage the no breakfast but the coffee not so much.

I have to do it though because I’ve blown it off for awhile now and have an appt with dr next week.
Sounds like a plan~:)

Daily routine is get up, get dressed, grab some orange juice, and go for a half hour walk (w/Lil'Bear) around the grounds of my complex (park area in the center of the complex).
It can be 5am or up to 7am, but doggy & I do this daily, rain or shine.
I spend all my time with my doggy~love her so...:)

Well, as you can see from my username I am a tennis player. Just turned 64. I play nearly every day, singles, with guys half my age for almost 2 hours. So......my joints are always aching. So every morning I soak in an epsom salt bath for about 20 minutes. Then stretch. Then off to the courts.

I bet you get a good work out..

I get up, turn CNN, and make myself hot chocolate. I don’t like coffee.
Sounds good to me.

My father once told me "you know you're getting old when you read to obits every day. You know you ARE old when that's the first thing you read".

I don't have a set time to get up or go to bed.. I just get up when I'm awake enough or my bladder tells me to. That can be at 5am or 3pm or later. I get up and make a beeline for the bathroom which is difficult when you can hardly walk and have to navigate a walker on wheels... Do my business there, wash my face, and then head for my computer. I spend 12 hours a day online because it helps distract me from pain and, let's face it, I'm addicted to my computer. I check my email, log on to Facebook and usually find messages from my niece and my two granddaughters. See what everyone is up to, play my games there, post some jokes or funny memes, then check different sites (and this will be one of the first ones from now on). If my husband is up, he sometimes makes me a cup of tea. After two hours, my brain and stomach are usually awake enough to get something to eat. And then I spend the rest of the time doing research, reading books on my desktop kindle, reading blogs and webpages, writing on my own blog, chatting with friends and learning something new.

Cindi , your post is a classic example of the computer being a God send for people who are housebound, to still have some contact with the outside world, and where possible have something to keep you occupied while coping with illness and pain !!

Yes, ma'am.. most definitely. It is not only my distraction from pain, but it's my education, my social life, my entertainment... I am one of those who is pretty much housebound these days. My leg became to weak so I had to stop driving and now I can only go out in the wheelchair. So it doesn't happen very often. I would be totally lost without my computer.

I am physically addicted to caffeine and get horrible headaches for days if I try to quit. Other than that fix, I have no plans. Everyday, I wake up a new person. I am constantly changing as I learn more about attaining net pleasure. If I am ever set in my ways, it will be because I have become the best person possible.

Great! I like to be open to new possibilities each day, too~

I get up around 5 AM. Other than that, I'm not comfortable divulging. I think I'm starting to feel a bit uncomfortable, in here, with a lot of personal information questions. I guess the one about what's in one's will put me on guard. It'll pass, perhaps. Then again, I always was amazed how so many younger folks shared personal info on Facebook, and that was one reason I never got into that scene. Now, I'm feeling that in the context of SF, too much personal info is being asked for. Obviously nobody is forced to put that info online, and I think, for now, I'll be more on guard, in here. Again, that will question kind of troubled me.

Ya know what? Everyone has a different idea of what's private & what's not. People are simply making conversation. A response is voluntary, not mandatory, so what's the biggie? As post #7 below says, no need to respond if you don't want to.

But if you do respond, I want your social security number, savings & checking account numbers & a detailed minute-by-minute itinerary of your daily schedule for the past year. And I'll be making copies & sending them to the FBI.

TG: I see you weren't the only one who was uncomfortable sharing information about your will. But we are all using screen names here and I am not even using a real picture of myself. So who would know who you really are? There's no way I would divulge the kind of information that I do here on Facebook because I do use my real name there.
