It took me about 1 1/2 years to lose 30 lbs. That was 3 years ago. and was something I was intent upon doing. The weight loss journey was erratic and frustrating, but the prize of any loss, was what spurred me on. I was doggedly determined to stop losing and gaining that weight over and over again as in the past.
I happened to see an article about Protein drinks, and how they could be helpful in either losing or maintaining. So, I now substitute that 160 calorie drink for either lunch or supper.
It's usually supper tho. I still watch ( not all the time ) what I am eating, but this gives me some latitude.
I also find it extremely helpful to weigh in just about every day. When ever I gain a lb or two, I am more careful with my eating. So far so good. Oh, I also donated all the larger clothing to Goodwill and bought smaller size clothes.
Has anyone else found a way to maintain their weight loss as well?
Would love to hear what works for you.
