I'm imagining what that means. Maybe I shouldn't, 'cause if I'm on the right track, it couldn't be discussed on this forum anyway. Cool off my fevered mind machinations and say it ain't so!This could be another life changer for me if it gets any worse.![]()
Well my hometown is just a mile away from a sanctuary city! I'm not comfortable with that at all. If violence should become a daily event, BF and I have discussed moving to another state. I would have to retire, he's already retired. Not my plans for sure.I'm imagining what that means. Maybe I shouldn't, 'cause if I'm on the right track, it couldn't be discussed on this forum anyway. Cool off my fevered mind machinations and say it ain't so!
Not in my area...but all of the above in Many, many areas of the UK... can't expand beause it's a hot political potato for the forumHow is the migrant crisis where you live? Do you see violence in the streets now? Is council housing overwhelmed or are the migrants being sent to hotels at your, the taxpayer's, expense? I wasn't sure how bad this all was until it got here. This could be another life changer for me if it gets any worse.![]()
Why should US citizens be willing to accept "entry level" jobs, when they can make more money from our "social" programs? The recent rise in SNAP benefits is a prime example.....if those people need a pay raise, they just have another child....which will likely be raised on the streets, and keep the police busy in the future. If America needs workers, why can't our elected goofballs do legislation to make it orderly and legal. Instead they look away.
But what does NYC and other blue states and cities do?Why should US citizens be willing to accept "entry level" jobs, when they can make more money from our "social" programs? The largest "ethnicity" in California is already Hispanic/Latino, and the SW states....Arizona, New Mexico, and Texas are also seeing a huge rise. I fully agree with the SW politicians bussing huge numbers of these illegals to NY, and other "blue" cities and States....that may be the best way to finally stem this flow.
As these "blue" areas are increasingly exposed to a flood of illegals, and their crime rates and illegal drug problems increase, they may begin to support far tighter border controls.....one can only hope. But what does NYC and other blue states and cities do?![]()
Not just the USA you may be relieved or concerned to know...this has been going on for decades in the UK...and not only Immigrants eitherWhy should US citizens be willing to accept "entry level" jobs, when they can make more money from our "social" programs? That just goes to show not to judge anyone. We don't know what they have been through. We do know when we see hard working people trying to make a better life for themselves and their family.Yes, it is the same here @Blessed and I agree. I see many around here that are working on farms and small businesses with no problems, I have known the family that works for me for years, watched their son grow up. They may be legal by now I don't really know, I do know they work very hard, own property, he buys tractors, equipment and trucks
