Been offline for a while. Last week at 4 am. had an ambulance take wife to the hospital. Heart issues. Still running in and out of doctors and testing places.
Posted some today so I don't drop off the deep end.
So sorry to hear this! My prayers are offered for your wife's speedy recovery. We;re all here for you my dear SD! 🫂 ❤️🙏

Sunny but forecast for tomorrow is cold and stormy. I am so tired of this!

Coffee with Izzi perched on my left wrist voicing her opinion. It sounds like "back to bed are you coming?"

Need to lay out all of son's work pants, used and back up's. To me they all look 30 pounds too big. That means a trip to town. Ordering has not worked out.

Kitchen cabinets need a lot of attention now that my ribs are almost healed.

Nothing that keeps me from enjoying coffee and my furry company for a bit longer.

Yes Virginia, there is a 330am on the clock!!!!!!!!!! why I am up
this time of morning is crazy, guess can blame it on leg cramps
and rash....along with achy joints....ah well....Morning all graylings, hope you have a decent day....it is 41deg now up
to mid 50;s later on...no precip I think.....
It may just be your time. Make the best of it with a cup of coffee, a cookie and some music. Wake up slowly before you face the world.

Well incredibly I did get more than sympathy from the locum for once... despite having to wait a whole hour past my appoinment time...

she classed my situation as Urgent.. and sent me immediately to the hospital for ''Urgent Blood test''.....I have to go back to the hospital Urgent care tomorrow to see a Doctor & get the results...

today was the day I was supposed to be having my abdominal surgery ( unrelated to the above) .. but I didn't go.. just couldn't take the chance of those traumatic events occurring again...

I have another appointment with a doctor later this month ( remember we can only discuss one thing with a doctor at any appointment ) to discuss a referral to a Private hospital

It's now 2pm.. and it's started to cloud over... still very warm out there.. I've got to go out and clean the bird poop off my car.... I wish people wouldn't feed birds fat balls, they make an incredible mess which is hard to remove when the birds chit on the car !

Good Morning, Everyone. 🤗 :coffee:🌻

It's a pretty day here and shouldn't be too cold today with a high of 54F/12C.

Yesterday was a bit rough, but I woke feeling better this morning than I did yesterday morning. So, you know, yay for that. 🥳

I have a tele-appointment in an hour, but nothing pressing on the agenda after that, so we'll see how the day unfolds.

Husband is off today, which always makes the day brighter. :)

Hope everyone is feeling good this morning.

Good morning, all.

Was surprised early yesterday with a phone call from DS asking if we could take TGS for the day. Everyone else in the house is down with RSV. TGS had it last week and seems to have been in a sharing mood. He's now immune and full of energy while the rest of the family is in zombie-mode.

Two days of light to moderate rain are behind us with more coming next week, but the weekend forecasts promise sunshine and temps in the low 70s.

Today I'll square away our guest suite, which is rarely used by anyone other than TGS, our other grandchildren, or me (when I'm sick with something contagious). With an adult spending the night this weekend, I'll shelve the baby books, move the floor mattress that TGS uses and generally make it look like less of a nursery.

I'll also have to do some dusting. @Georgiagranny, please send prayers for strength as I face the adversary.

As seen on my morning walk:

Every house seems to have one dog or more............................Woody woodpecker at his work

I measured 6/10" of rain at our house yesterday (2 1/2" since last year April) and the mountains got a light snow cover

Today I drove an hour up to Hellifield and Giggleswick (don't we have some cool town names?) to see steam loco 'Tornado' on her first mainline test run for 3 years. She's been undergoing a major overhaul but hopefully will now be pulling mainline charters over the summer :)

Here she is approaching Giggleswick Station with just the support coach for the maintenance crew etc.

Vacuumed this morning.

DGD-in-law came with the Baby to take me out to lunch. Baby had on a cute pair of jeans and his uncle's hoodie from when uncle was a baby!

He was so cute in the restaurant, beaming and smiling at people and waving.

When we got back to my house he and my dog enjoyed each other. I read his book to him. Then they went to see his grandmother.

Sunny and mild at 40 but quite windy so feels colder.

Last month a group of us got together for brunch at IHOP and decided to meet twice a month. The common denominator is that we all knew the one who organized the outing but not necessarily each other. Today was the day and a dozen showed up. It seems we are all eager to stay connected. One person can make such a difference.

Yesterday I was very stressed from situation at work and generally. But went to the art class in the evening and painted this: View attachment 408207
of Whistle Down Cottage, which is in the village of Woodmancote, near here. Today was much better and now it is evening and I am chilling listening to some jazz.
I love it. I looked at a yellow house earlier today and thought it would make a good painting. Synchronicity?
