Sending you support, Llynn.I will spend today preparing for yet another tumor removal surgery which happens tomorrow. This will be the third and probably last surgery of this type. After I recover the next step will be organ removal with major lifestyle changes. Starting to get a wee bit discouraged about this whole thing.
Awww llynn.. I'm not in the least surprised you're becoming despondent, you've been through Sooooo much, not fair..... but hang in there , because the world needs all the nice people it can keep, and you've been so stoic throughout all of this ..... and i wish you everything you wish for yourself tomorrowI will spend today preparing for yet another tumor removal surgery which happens tomorrow. Why did you opt for a springing poa if I may ask?Yesterday was laundry day. I put away most of the clothes but have a few more pieces to go which I'll take care of today. I also worked on my taxes a bit yesterday and literally just finished e-filing. I downloaded PDF copies of the fed and state taxes and put them in one of my external drives. At some point, I'll add that updated folder to my SD hard drive as well.
When my son brought the mail in last evening, my new will and living will were among the pieces. I looked over them today and called the attorney firm. This time, a Springing Power Of Attorney was included. It's the first time they included that and I have a question about the wording in one paragraph.
Also, my son's name was misspelled once on the same page that it was spelled correctly twice! What is it with some workers?! Considering it's a legal document, you would think everything would be checked and double checked before sending them out. I'll wait until I hear from the attorney before emailing them with the necessary correction, in case what he tells me requires a change in wording in the above mentioned paragraph.
I didn't opt. They just automatically prepared it as part of my will update package. That's why I wrote that they had never done that before. Why did you opt for a springing poa if I may ask?
