I am looking forward to my Easter gift this year! Easter Sunday I take the big bird to our nearby university hospital for a TAVR on Monday. I can't wait to start feeling better. Sadly, my cats get depressed when they see the suitcases come out but I promised to spoil them when I get home.
I hope everything goes well, how long do they think you'll be in hospital ?

Holly is definitely our expert @Georgiagranny! We had a trail thread going an she was all on top of it.
Our resident legal eagle!⚖️
Thank you Annie... It's just my passion... :D

Currently I'm totally on the eyeball of the Monica Seminitilli case.. which is now almost at an end.... but that has also been an incredible case...

I hope she gets everything she deserves.. and hopefully the jury will not take too long to decide...

Have to get the tomatoes in the ground. They are blooming and the first fruit is almost an inch. SO built individual circles which fit the pots out of clear corrugated plastic. That will protect them from the wind and will hold a tarp should we get another cold snap.

Easter cards!

Office window needs scrubbing.

One of our older friends is mia. A last call before reaching out to her daughter.

Get dinner together.

I would like to think it's not over that Alex will fess up... I don't think he ever will, and having seen his father go down for 2 life sentences I doubt that Buster will fess up to what actually happened to that young boy. The local story is he was killed after having a sexual liaison with Buster, and then he was killed by person/s unknown to prevent him talking about it.

Just to be pedantic, Alex didn't actually shoot himself.. he paid someone to do it... and the shooter admitted his part in this fraud..

In my mind and I'm sure in all the prosecution and witnesses mind there's no doubt Alex killed the housekeeper so he could claim on her insurance which was essentially claiming against himself.. and of course Gloria''s 2 young sons who desperately needed that money , one is a quadriplegic.. didn't see a penny.. because he kept it.. or as he would like us to believe he spent a half million on pills...

Further to that he stole millions from his own partners in the law firm.. one of his great friends, and lawyer in another company broke down in the witness stand completely bereft at realising it was his great friend who not only stole hundreds of thousands from him, but he was in fact the killer..
I think it broke that whole town. 😟

For a minute there I thought @hawkdon hadn't posted, but just about the time I was going to worry, his post was found. Yay. AT&T must have shown up to move the wire because his lawn is gonna get mowed today.

I fiddled and piddled in the garden. No monkey grass got moved, but other things did. Sometimes I plant something in what seems to be the perfect spot until it doesn't seem to be the perfect spot. Then it gets moved to the next perfect spot. Rinse and repeat until it lands in the real perfect spot.

I dug up some tall garden phlox and planted them in pots because they tend to get powdery mildew in the ground. If it gets powdery mildew in pots, it's easy to get rid of. Not so in the ground. Then some ornamental blue fescue got moved because it got so big that it was crowding out other plants, not to mention obscuring my view of flowers that I want to see from the teeny, tiny patio.

Every fall I tell myself that I'll remember what perennials were planted where. The bulb perennials are fine; I always remember those, and they start popping up at the end of winter anyway. The others that get cut back and are just there? Um. I don't remember. One of these days it's going to occur to me to label the tags that stick in the ground so I'll know when spring rolls around again.

It took a while to warm up, and I got a late start. Gonna rest a bit, then march my bony butt out again and mow the lawn.

If @hollydolly hadn't gobbled down all her leftovers, I could have some for lunch. Now I have to think of something on my own. Dang!

I'm so bad, I need to go get a fasting blood test and I keep putting it off. I wake up and then decide I simply must have my coffee and breakfast. So tomorrow has to be the day, in order that the results will be back for my doctor appointment on Monday.

My egg today had two yolks. I cannot remember when that last happened, it must have been a very long time (or the memory is gone).

I bought three shares of a stock and then literally 1 minute later the price had jumped $4 so I'd already made 12 dollars. I searched the news for several minutes without finding the reason the market suddenly started speeding upward, but now finally I got a Breaking News pop-up that said tariffs were paused for 90 days. I wonder how the stock market knew it before it made the news, the stock market sure reacts fast.

Changed my mind about mowing because the ground is still so wet from the rain on Sunday and Monday. I'll give it another day and mow tomorrow afternoon.

Double yoke, double luck!

I had my MOHS surgery today and it was a lot worse than I anticipated.

When they let me look at my nose before he closed it up, I dropped the mirror, it startled and scared me so much.

Then, I looked again after he closed up and had to create a "flap" by doing some sort of jigsaw-puzzle maneuver and now I look like Dr. Frankenstein did the surgery. I look like a patchwork quilt.

My nose is pulled out of kilter but they assure me it will look better "within a year". I'd be OK if it were on my arm or leg, but my face?

Anyway....life will go on but I'm really in pain and I'm depressed as hell.

This is a natural first reaction. Please let it heal. Then take it from there. A lot can be done surgically and with medical make up.

Let the incisions heal and the puffiness come down. Please!

Want to have a good laugh? I have roughly 180 incisions in each leg from ankle to upper thigh. I used to call them my personal ants crawling up on me. I wear short skirts.

Awww no wonder you're feeling like shi..t we'd all feel the same in your shoes. 🤗.. a year will seem like a long time until it recovers fully... is it painful ?

I had to do a lot of reorganizing of my storage totes, boxes and in the storage closet to fit my new purchases. I also did some labeling. It took more time than I expected. This is my candy tote, which was really a mess before. I had room to put the unopened stash (first pic) beneath the opened bags of hard and chocolate candies. I got more Russell Stover sugar free candies today from Amazon; I'll put them in one of the bottom totes. More storage of nonperishables are in boxes behind the totes and speaker, as well as in the hassock.

I downloaded the PDF version of my tax returns that are ready for filing and made sure to add them to my external hard drives, one of which goes in my fireproof box. I dug the FP box out since I was working in that area. I was trying to find out how to encrypt my SSD drive, but didn’t see how to do it. I checked YouTube with no luck. I felt I spent enough time on that, so I’ll leave it for another day.

I’ve got to sort laundry then load and run the dishwasher. I mention that from time to time because according to what goes in it, getting it done is tedious and can be a challenge (since it’s a countertop unit). I watched the latest episode of Will Trent and plan to do more research on UFO sightings after my son goes to bed.

Good morning to all, I hope you have a good day today.

@OneEyedDiva There is a post that I was just reading on another site that was all about UFOs and what we think they are. Quite entertaining. lol

@hollydolly your days always sound so happy

@Trila stay outta trouble! lol

My day is looking like a slow & relaxing one. The only thing on the to-do list is to give my service dog a bath before church tonight.
Thank you for wishing us a good day. I hope you are having a good day as well.

Have you ever watched any of the UFO documentaries? I'm particularly fascinated by ones where ex military, former astronauts and respected officials detail their sightings, as well as incidents where the the sighting(s) were witnessed en masse.

A productive day. Went grocery shopping this morning. And finally got my printer going. Last month I got a new modem and tower for WiFi. So, of course, had to get all my things attached to the new internet . For some reason could not get my wireless printer to connect to WiFi. A friend rightly suggested I wait a couple days...being I was sick and all, and had other stuff on my mind.
So, about an hour ago I said, Darn I need to print stuff from computer. So I went back and after about 10 minutes got it going Yay for me
