Very good. I won some money in the lottery again. This is the fourth time in a week and someone noticed and mentioned it. This makes me feel good. It's just small amounts right now, but I know the big prize is coming. Won't it be fun when it does. In the meantime, I'm in a much happier mood. It doesn't take much. :giggle:

I don't play but I'm happy that you're winning.

Morning folks!!...up at 4am again, but whatever....very achy
all over today, may or may not do laundry....those bear sightings are about 60 miles from ,me....does make me wonder
why I've not seen any rabbits, possums, groundhogs, or deer this spring tho....>@@@
Now you guys have me craving a Pastie, only had once at
a Scottish festival in kansas city, loved them....y'all have a
great day!!!:cool::love::giggle::coffee:

Pasties! They've been talked about so much in the Victorian and modern English novels that I read. When I hear that word, my heart leaps and I almost feel British. 😄 I hope you feel better and have a good day! 💐💛

We had the big HOA meeting and it went surprisingly well. Intelligent questions, asked in a civil manner. I'm so relieved.

Today: Watercolor class from 9 to 11. Weights. In the afternoon, try to do something about the back garden. Dinner out with another couple.

The sun is shining after a night of storms. Seems like we had some tornadoes in Western Wisconsin. We had heavy rain and hail here. The cats hid in the basement, poor babies. It’s supposed to be warm today, but then drop back into the low 50s for highs and stay there into next week.

I have laundry going, so I’ve at least accomplished one thing today. I got a new Ruggable yesterday so I may or may not get that put down today. I also got a new outdoor water fountain to put on my patio, but it’ll be too cool to have the door open to hear it, so no rush on that. Definitely do some quilting.

Such an exciting life I‘m living now!

Have a great day everyone!

I'm just starting my cuppa, so I'm not really awake yet. The good news is that I'm feeling much better this morning! (yea, me!). The dental work pain and accompanying headache is gone. And the injuries from my fall last weekend are much better....just in time for me to go skating tomorrow! LOL

I'm not really sure what I'll be doing today, but most likely it won't be much.

I was awaken this morning around 5 a severe thunderstorm went through the area, didn't; last long was able to go back to sleep for about an hr.
My early walk at 7, temp was 65 ,sun was out as I went around the building once before breakfast
This morning, friend, Mary is picking me up at 9:30 this week's 'road trip' to Target, hope to find Josh Groban's new CD' Gems' some of his biggest hits, have 2 other of his CD's. I've been a fan of his for yrs. Then we'll go to our favorite dollar tree store, actually the prices now are $1.25
The rest of my day hope to take afternoon walk before rain supposedly starts again
I'm having dinner tonight in dining room at 6 with my neighbor, Cathie who owns 'Rudy' my favorite dog here.I have walked him a few times, very sweet 12 yr old rescue dog. He's always happy to see me whenever I stop by

Yes! Life is good!

What is a "Ruggable"? (asking for a friend)

Enjoy your quilting!

It is supposed to be hot here today in the 90's, it goes higher with the humidity factor.

I play a few dollars in our lotto and have won small amounts. I also enter for the HGTV smart home in San Antonio, Texas. If I were to win that one, fat chance, I would take the 1.1 million for the house, $100,000 cash and the Mercedes Benz car.

Anyway, just cleaning house today and going out for lunch.

I hope you all enjoy your day.

Your make a good point about the smaller critters. We have cyotes come around at times. Goober knows when they are around, and smart boy that he is, knows how to avoid them. Other critters don't have a home to come to.

Went down to project house yesterday . I drove down by myself because some details were driving me crazy….like the crack on the ceiling which still shows. The house was built in 1937…so has it’s flaws likd we all do. I saw two egrets standing out in the desert…far from water. That was different. Then I saw a rattlesnake curled on the edge of the highway. That was pretty normal desert stuff. I worked for hours on the ceiling and walls…better but not perfect. Ran out of caulk when caulking the doorways. Then the air hose blew up when trimming out another wonkey doorway. Next time
. Dry set a row of tile just to give myself something to ponder…that will be the hardest tile job I have done yet. Next time…drinking coffee and waiting for everyone to get out of bed…

Pot pie may be somewhat of a substitute. Please do not microwave. The crust will be rubbery.

@OneEyedDiva- It's good that it turns out your GD didn't need her birth certificate for this job, but now's the time for her to locate it or order some official copies. I've needed to show a BC several times during my adulthood.

@Happyflowerlady - thanks for the tapping video. When I had a breast biopsy a year or so ago, one of the nurses was tapping my head while the doctor cut me - I found it distracting in a not unpleasant way. Good to know it works for anxiety, stress and other kinds of pain.

Just waiting for the people to arrive to collect the furniture piece I sold on ebay. Initially they asked to come tomorrow, then 30 minutes ago they asked if the could come NOW... which meant I had to make a dash to get dressed decent enough to meet strangers....they're supposed to be here any minute

I agree Starsong. I think she didn't want to keep the copy herself because she lives on campus. It's crazy, but every semester they change dorms. Even though her rooms lock, I think that's one part of the reason. The other is that, like her mother, she has a tendency to lose things. She was too stressed for me to say anything yesterday, but I'm going to mention it when we talk again. She asked her dad if maybe she should get a lock box too.

Totally understand - I still have two of my three kids' BCs and original SS cards. Even if she entrusts custody to someone else, when she needs it, she needs to be able to put her hands on it within a few days.

So a woman comes on her own with a pre teen son.... he's wearing the usual garb of that age of boys, inlcuding a headset... for all the world looking like a boy.... she steps in and says, oh this might be too heavy for us perhaps we should have waited for dad, and I said if your son takes the drawers out seperately to the car...... ''She not he ''' says the mother, sharply...... .. I thought ok... whatever...

.....but you'd think if the child we'll say he/she was 12... wants to be known by another gender, it might help if they dressed less like the gender they're discarding...
