Am relatively ok now, though feel like Monday morning after a long weekend. Given a minor headache, after about 12 hours, I consumed 400mg of Ibuprofen, and a couple tablespoons of sugar, the only thing I ate Thursday. Slept much of the day, rather immobilized. By midnight, woke up feeling better with my temperature down to a normal 97.8F after being 100.4F at the peak. In order to revitalize my GI track with familiar healthy bacteria, at 5am this morning, consumed a half cup of Kefir Strawberry Probiotic drink with added sugar and seem fine.
Have had norovirus a few times in the past, and it always seems to last less than a day with its really awful nauseous symptoms just a few hours. If one is not outdoors, one must find somewhere warm to be still, laying down near a restroom. Just need to grit it out while knowing the worst does not last long. Whenever the feeling of throwing up starts to rise again, I immediately move to a restroom before I really have to, as waiting even briefly chances an uncontrollable disaster mess.
Now at 8:30am PST, construction crews have begun banging away with staple guns on the roof of my 2-story condominium 4-plex as they replace shingles. A few days ago they removed all the old shingles on the now bare roof, then yesterday delivered stacks of packaged new ones.
On my new Pixel 10 PRO, went through all Settings menus noting options, including all the sub-menus that was very productive. Many more Settings options on this new high end phone versus my old Motorola moto g6. Although I changed some options like the ring chimes, others I need to now research before understanding what they do. The security and location options are especially involved. The extremely complex device, much like my Sony a6700 camera, is not something one can be lazy about and effectively use without some time and effort studying.
For unknown reasons yet, was surprised to find my 40 or so Youtube skiing videos, play on the Pixel 10 PRO, with noticeably better quality than the bandwidth compressed videos using my Asus 4k UHD monitor from my HP Omen desktop, that was similar to my Dell laptop 4K UHD. Same videos when uncompressed on my desktop/laptop running say Windows Media Player are as clean as running natively on the GoPro display. The old moto g smartphone was likewise lower quality.
A quick web search related that was probably due to display pixel density, but that is obviously incorrect, and instead expect it has something to do with the video codec selected in the phone that YouTube detects. Something I need to research more on a YouTube forum. The desktop/laptop videos show what looks like wind blown snow moving across the snow surface that is due to compression noise. I had thought, the videos would look the same on any display or device but that is not true. If true, that means I should be able to upload a newer codec to my desktop to remedy such.
This morning, will visit a Staples 2 blocks away to pick up 3 Amazon items at their Hub Locker. The more interesting item is the earbud settings that require reading documentation, I may put off a few days. Otherwise, a quiet recovery day at home.
