I had a wonderful Christmas, yesterday! I'm so happy to spend another Christmas with my Mom!!!

Today is another beautiful day! Tomorrow too, so I'll be going skating! 😁 The weather starts changing on Sunday, and by Monday our high should be right around freezing.

From 80° to 32° within a day or two!!!! Mother Nature must be having hot flashes!!!

I don't have any big plans for today. I want to go through the pictures from yesterday and cull out the ones that I don't want. I'll probably open my 2026 Baby Goats calendar (I get one every year from 🎅), and start to fill in our appointments and birthday reminders for next year. I also have a few small sewing projects that I might get started on.....

Or, I'll sit on my butt and do nothing for the day! 😂🙃😆

Good morning to everyone. It is another day in the 80's and sunny. We will be going out this morning to do a few things because the stores are open again.

It was cute yesterday watching a little girl, a toddler, on her new Christmas trike. Her father was putting her little feet on the pedals and then pushing down on them with his hands to make it move. She had a big smile on her face while the mother took pictures. I watched out my front window as they live across the street.

I hope you all have a nice day and stay well. :)

DH talked about going to see that Song Sung Blue movie about the Neil Diamond impersonator.
I love the music but I know nothing about the life of who this movie is about, it may be interesting
we shall see.
What's funny about him wanting to see this movie is I asked him 2 weeks ago if we could get outside
after Christmas while it was warmer and cut off the dead limbs from the trees while sap is down.

Very interesting how he waited a few days to tell me about this movie and we should see it on THIS day.
Surely he doesn't think I can't see through this guise? :ROFLMAO::unsure:

I went to the grocery store this morning and it was such a surprise, how nice everyone was inside the store and one woman shopper offering me her cart. She wished me happy new year and then in the bakery, the worker asked if she could help me, which usually they ignore me. Then I went to checkout and the worker smiled and said have a nice day with a smile. I am mentioning this as it is so unusual to happen at this store.

Maybe they all had a great Christmas Day off and thankful for some reason. :)

Just got back from seeing Song Sung Blue and not having any expectations
of it, I found it surprisingly decent.
Well, Hugh Jackson actually is a good singer as well as Kate Hudson, that made
it even better knowing it wasn't a dubbed in voice double.
He does a pretty good impression of Neil Diamond.

Is it worth a movie ticket, only if you go to the movies as a treat to yourself.
I was glad we went as we hadn't been in a long bit of time. I did not feel
for myself, that we got ripped off. When it ever gets to Netflix it is well worth viewing.

DH works tomorrow but this nice weather is around until Sunday so I have to get him
out EARLY before ballgames come on to trim those trees. He should know I don't
forget that stuff. It needs 2 people to do that, one to saw and the other to keep the
limb from falling on the one doing the sawing.

G'morning peeps of SF on this last Satruday of 2025.....it's 8.30am.. and everywhere is frozen outside... a complete white-out.... 🥶

I had to go up to the barn as soon as I got dressed to turn on the dehumidifier... so when the ice melts on the roof, it doesn't cause everythinng inside to get wet

However they've changed their minds now at the weather centre and have forecast a Sunny day for today.... ..so if they're right and the ice thaws .. then I'm going out for a walk in the woods or a walk by the river

Have the best day you can folks ⛄🌺

I'm back from out in the {{{freezing cold}}}}}.... It's racing towards 12.30pm... I went out about 9.30am... and there was no chance the sun was strong enough to melt the ice on my car . so I had to clear it off...

I decided not to go to the river or the woods, because the wind is soooo cold, it's like raw ice... 🥶 🥶

So instead I went to the supermarket to top up the shopping until next week. ...but if I couldn't get anything much then I needed milk and fruit above all else..
The roads were fairly clear of traffic, but the supermarket was JAMMED solid of people.. I couldn't believe my eyes.. absolutely heaving..and there was more Tesco Home shoppers with their trolleys, picking for home deliveries than I've ever seen...ever.... they were everywhere...blocking every aisle

It' amazing to think that if that many people are at home ordering, and the store which is the Superstore was so packed... then we'd be in trouble now if there was no such thing as home deliveries...

The shelves were remarkably full of food, very often they're quite sparce at this time just after Christmas but I didn't notice that ealmost everything had very short shelf lives.. 3 days.. max 4 ...

Anyway I'm glad I did go rather than the walk.. beause now..it's really overcast... and dull...

Morning all, yesterday we got an inch of snow later in afternoon turned to rain/freezing rain ,temps dropped to the 20's I'm not going out today walking temps still in 20's icy on sidewalks. Instead I'll get my exercise walking our long hallway a couple times during the day
No real plans today, some paper work, then this afternoon & evening watch a couple college football games
Every body have a great day

@hollydolly Wow! I never thought you would get that kind of weather in London. How far out of the city is this?

Beautiful! I, too, live rurally but it is so different than that. Not so manicured, so civilized. Here, it is wild and rugged, in the mountains of the western US. This winter, however, has been unusually warm, the one snow we had has all melted, and temps are mostly in the 30's to high 40F's.

I had the old barn torn down. It was already half falling down so it is now gone. I don't need a barn so will not rebuild.
