@hollydolly

I have had the same problem with re-connecting computer/tv/etc cables. The last time, I wrapped tape around each end of every cable and marked it, along with the place it plugged into. "A" to "A", "B" to "B", etc. It really helps.
That's what I do with my chargers. I wrap each with a piece of colored electric tape I've also put on the device covers. I have 3 ebook readers (fiction, nonfiction, and kobo for when I'm mad at Amazon) and a tablet (for books that are heavily illustrated). Even if three Kindle chargers look exactly alike, one cannot assume that the yellow one will charge the blue ebook. It is so bizarre. The good thing about my Kobo is that kobo is printed on the charger.

Up date on the oatmeal bread......I made so many mistakes ,, that the finished loaf will become animal food.

Been trying to clean some f the mess in Hubby' garage.
He has been keeping,, ear corn in barrels in the garage.
Corn is a tacking critters,,nice & bugs & rats!!!

Hubby has a difficult time getting down to ground/floor level,, so I've down under the shelves,, up & down. surprised Both of were surprised at how much corn was hidden away,, almost under the floor in some areas.

Maybe when it gets warmer again, we can block where they are getting.

Had to take my 2002 Saturn SC2 to the automotive repair place this AM.

The “clicky” sound the bottom hinge has always made on the driver’s side, since I rolled it off the showroom floor, broke last night. The techs assure me I can still drive the car as this hinge has nothing to do with the safety of keeping the door shut.

It acts as a doorstopper. My biggest thing is being able to hold it, if the wind grabs it.

We are all on the hunt for a door. My brother found one first — up In Wisconsin. I texted the link to the repair shop. If the numbers match my car’s door, it will get shipped down here.

Then I went to Tractor Supply, for dog and horse feed —- that grocery bill was $253. It Should all last about 4 to 4-1/2 weeks.

Moving on to Kroger where my personal grocery bill was $39, lollol. I filled the car with gas since we are supposed to get nasty cold this week. It is now 2:00 PM and only 31F. In the teens at night all week🥶🥶

Home since last night. Son bought burgers from our local joint. Can't remember when I've had something so delicious. Happy to be home. Not physically well today. Achy and shaky & headachy all day. Promised son I wouldn't yell at Louie, but I forgot when he bit me. Didn't hurt, startled me.

So tired.

it never occurred to me to think of the plugs that go into the back of the Internet boxes in the tv...

It's going to take you I little while to get your strength back. Just take your time, don't try and rush things..

My first ever selfee image, taken with my Cyber Monday purchased Pixel 10 Pro, yesterday 1/14/2026. After driving the 223 miles yesterday afternoon am back home doing little and re-cooperating from 3 strenuous skiing days. Nice sunny fair calm weather day here with temp now about 65F, so have windows and doors open letting in the fresh warmer air. Mic'd a 10oz package of frozen spinach for lunch.

that's an excellent selfie... what's cool about it is that your phone is reflected in your helmet....:D

Well below is a 100% pixels crop from that same mr dave selfee. And yes after 3 days skiing, he could use a shave haha.

#1 I wish you would grow a beard and mustache. Then we can vote on whether it would behoove you to keep it! Whatcha think?

Was your previous phone a Pixel? Mine is and I've been thinking about upgrading to the 10 Pro. The sticking point is that this phone has irritated me from the day I got it. The worst part is whenever Google updates it, my settings get changed, and new stuff happens. Like after the latest upgrade, I cannot answer my phone. Most everyone knows that now, so they know to let it ring a few times and then hang up and I'll call them back. I'm pretty tech savvy, so I've already found everything on how to handle this problem, and none of it works, including a few ideas of my own. So pissed I am. ( @hollydolly , in the US that means angry, not drunk!)

Secondly, Google just got caught in CA doing something like spying on people regardless of their phone settings. I'll post a link when I find it. I run, of course, a vpn (Proton) along with other proton apps on my phone, and have CCleaner, and so forth. Privacy is absolutely vital to me because of no reason other than I believe that I (and everyone else) am entitled to it.

So are you having any problems with your new phone? Thanks for any upcoming advice!

Well the day has started very early. I thought for some strange reason.. when the alarm went off at 7.15am.. that it was 6.30am.. so I didn't get up... fortunately I;d set another alarm for 15 minutes later.. and I jumped out of bed, and I'd just got out of the shower , and dressed.. no hair brushed or anything when the Plumber arrived..at 7.50am.....followed 10 minutes later by the Tiler to finish the tiling he didn't finish yesterday .... waayyy to early for me...

It's 8.40am now and I'm very pleased this is Friday and after today I'll have 2 days break from them.

The rest of my day exercise class at 10, read today's NYT,see what today's lunch& dinner menu is offering
Everybody have a good day

Got a routine / every 90 day dermatologist appointment at 8:30 this morning.

To tell you the truth I'm not looking forward to even setting foot outside this morning, it's 39° and the wind is howling out of the north at 26 mph which makes it feel pretty darn nippy.

I got up early, but now I want to go back to bed! It's still dark, with single-digit temperatures and winds gusting up to 50 mph (80 kmh). I can hear them howling.

Luckily, I don't need to go outside, but I'd prefer to be snuggled under the covers instead of working. But deadlines call, so I'll just keep drinking coffee and bundling up in my cardigan and fuzzy socks. :)

Hope everyone has a good day.
