I have arthritis and a couple of other problems with my hands. Fortunately it is more numbness than pain. I type poorly and keep my comments short. Some might think I am aloof. Really just conserving effort.

Whenever I defrost the freezer, I make a note on my ipad calendar. Any notes about the freezer are missing after June 2022. This is usually done twice a year and I always reference it before doing this hated task. I did it this morning, because the weather is cooler and I didn’t want to wait until it’s too hot to store my food in the garage.

After thinking about it, I did a quick search here and it was done on Dec. 10th so it was time to do it.

I also remembered I didn’t make a note in my word document about Christmas and birthday gifts I give. This is to remind me not to repeat the gifts. That document seems to be gone. This was at least ten years old. There’s no reason I would delete it. Weird.

You may have a microphone in which you can talk and it posts the text.

Oh, really? I am slow to try that sort of thing but if things get worse I might. Thanks.

O,O,...Did someone ask for a loan?

Or are you to go to work when you are supposed to be off?

Time for a long walk,,alone??
No. The Bank of Mom is safe for the moment:)

I just would like to call tomorrow morning and claim to be sick. It's one of those "everybody else does it" things, but my conscience won't let me. I always take a pic of the schedule and see that Sir was only on the schedule until noon today, new person only until 10, cake decorator lady from 11-7. What that means is that none of the yeast breads will be set up and thawed in the morning. Slows me up big time. It's also not likely that any breakfast pastries were baked this morning so I'll get to do that in my "spare time."

Can't go for a walk. (1) It's not safe to go waltzing around alone, (2) I'm already jammied because it's bedtime in just a few minutes.

Poor pitiful me:cry::cry:

that’s hogwash from the lawyer. She may not be able to go forward with the division as it was planned for tomorrow. She knows things don’t just end because your X has lied. If she doesn’t give you a satisfactory explanation on what to do next, demand to speak to a senior lawyer.

In theory, you would think there could be a penalty against him for lying on a legal document.

I know you can’t afford the next steps; maybe you can’t afford not to.
well we'll see what she says tomorrow... but if I have to take things further I've been quoted £10k from 3 lawyers ......I cannot afford that...plain and simple...

Geez @hollydolly She accepted your original 10K to get the job done. If she can't or won't do the job, you should at least get some of your money back! Like 2/3? Half? From where I sit, it looks like you've done the lion's share of the leg work.
No..I didn't pay her 10k... that's the reason she doesn't deal with his lawyer.. but only with me.. and I'm expected to do the work. I paid half that after being told that they would be very able to see it all through but the difference would be that I would be told what to do.. there would be no face to face meetings in an office, and she wouldn't deal directly with his lawyers..

I can't talk about it any more..it's 11.15pm here..I have the meeting early in the morning.. I'm going to have nightmares if I even get any sleep..

Yesterday was an all day at work day. Urgent cover was needed, could I help? I did ten, very busy, highly stressful, yet infinitely wonderful ten hours. Then when I got home, as promised, I cooked the evening meal, Beef Stroganoff, my lady loves it and we had roast beef leftovers from Sunday to use up.

My cooking the meal meant that my lady could get on with the new dress that she is making. Do you want a peek, it's not finished yet so I can only show you the paper pattern, but it's enough.

Have you or your good lady applied for the 'Great British sewing bee' or 'Masterchef' ? You sound quite talented in both areas.

I do most of the cooking at home, but I haven't cooked a Stroganoff in years. I did cook a beef Bourguignon on Sunday, though I prefer making it with venison.

You two are stylish and gorgeous! What a lovely photo!
Such a compliment, thank you, most kind of you.

My wife's sewing talent has earned her many a compliment, she is a clever lady.
In her working life she was a paramedic in the ambulance service. That meant around the clock shifts which is how I became the chef. Engaged in all and sundry in the kitchen I became fascinated with diet, that's a balanced diet, and learned recipes that were non-meat but just as enjoyable and nutritious. A couple of the lady's favourites are trout, served on a bed of rice and sweetcorn, covered in roasted almonds. As I said, she does like Stroganoff, which I make using mushrooms instead of beef.

We don't eat much in the way of red meat, when we do I mince it and turn it into tagliatelle bolognese, lasagne or spaghetti rather than tagliatelle. Pasta is another of her favourites.
