Anyone else get their 2024 Amazon Christmas catalog yet? Did you get the skinny one or the inch-thick one?
Amazon Christmas Catalogue ?... what, a paper one ?Anyone else get their 2024 Amazon Christmas catalog yet? Did you get the skinny one or the inch-thick one?
Mine just came today. I only got the thin one, but my neighbor got the thick one. Maybe I don't buy enough from them?Amazon Christmas Catalogue ?... what a paper one ?
We don't get that !
I buy a lot from Amazon and have Prime..we definitely don't get catalogues here...Mine just came today. I only got the thin one, but my neighbor got the thick one. Maybe I don't buy enough from them?
I have a feeling that this is what has affected my hair tbh...Stress affects hair @hollydolly
Misa is 65 and she started losing her hair. She had some other problems and she has started hormone replacement therapy. She thinks a lot of seniors are having health problems because of hormone imbalance. I don't know...thought I would let you know. You are and will be forever a very pretty women. It's almost 12 noon ... I was in London at 7am... dark and raining.!
On the way back I stopped at Tesco & M&S.. what bliss to be shopping when they'd just opened and there was hardly anyone except the shelf fillers and checkout staff there.. so much space, and I was able to see lots of food I;d never noticed beore simply because it;s always so crowded.
I bought some really nice food.. including Pineapple tarts.. ooh yum..I haven't had them for about 50 years..seriously.....lol... since i was barely a kid...
My fridhe & both freezers are stacked to the hilt, with just enough air to keep everything fresh .. and my fridge is completely full...
Since getting back around 10am.. I've had to make several phone calls.. .. and now I can sit down and have a cuppa tea.. and maybe a pineappple tart...
Tomorrow morning I have to be at the hair salon at the college for 9am... I still can't decide whether to have my hair cut short... I'm thinking I will... because it seems to be getting very thin, and straggly...which is quite amazing that this should happen in such a short space of time.. just in july when i had it cut last it seemed to be normal ..it;s never been thick hair but there's always been plenty of it.. now it seems to be very thin...![]()
Thank you PD..that's very kind...I'm not losing it from the front or the top of my head if you see what I mean but every time I brush my hair the brush is full of hair... and so it was shoulder blade length, but now it;s kinda shorter, and a lot thinner...and that's just in 3 months...Misa is 65 and she started losing her hair. OMG that's tragic...Had lunch with friends. Her sister lives on the water in the St. Petersburg area and basically lost her home because of the hurricanes. She only had a bit of insurance because she never thought anything could go wrong. She was a spender and almost all the fancy possessions and clothes were ruined. The mold is ruining what wasn’t destroyed. At 80 they are starting over. They’re just one of so many families. Very sad.
well I would doubt that the manual labour caused you stomach upset... perhaps you've got flu or Covid... have you tested yourself ?I woke up this morning feeling like the tin man. My whole body was aching and I sick to my stomach. The temperature fell to below freezing here last night. Misa and I put up gutters a few days ago. We did a lot of labor . We felt Ok the for a few days but if this is what my body is turning into, it is going to be quite a challenge to live an active life, and have a body that won't function. I am going to be practicing mind over matter mental exercises to see if I can "bypass" the pain and misery.![]()
I have to use the bare floor attachment on my vacuum in the space where I dry my hair even though it's carpet. It's almost 12 noon ... I was in London at 7am... dark and raining.!

I agree with HD. You're probably sick and it happens to be coming on the heels of cooler weather arriving and a few days of manual labor.well I would doubt that the manual labour caused you stomach upset... perhaps you've got flu or Covid... have you tested yourself ?
