I'm home. It's a perfectly cromulent day (remember that word

?) if still a bit chilly. As soon as the dew has dried up, I'm gonna mow.
Tomorrow's laundry day, but that won't take but an hour or so. Thinking of asking DD if she will take me to the garden center(s) this afternoon to, um, browse. And buy a new pair of nippers. I lost mine in the garden Monday. It broke my heart because those nippers and I had been a "couple" for many, many years. When I get new ones, I'm gonna paint the handles with fluorescent pink paint so they'll never get lost again.
Yanno what? The Bank of Gramma is closed, too. No more

. DGD has a serious and debilitating case of fibromyalgia, and I really feel for her. There are way too many days when she's unable to work at all. While I'd like to help, I've decided that it's really up to DD/DSIL to cut their own expenses and provide the financial help. The good news is that at last they've found a medical practice that's exclusively for the treatment of fibromyalgia. She's been seeing a rheumatologist. Geez, we can put a man on the moon but can't cure diseases that affect millions of people worldwide.
About the new
full-time person at work: she's going to work from 11pm-7am baking cookies. Eight hours of cookies? Okay.
When we begged for a night person to do all manner and sort of jobs that could best be done at night, the response was that there was no money in the budget for another person, not even just part time.
Either HR lady's
GD wanted a job or
HR lady wanted her to
have a job is anybody's guess, but there's now money in the budget for another full-time employee. Mmhmm. In either case, it will be nice to not have to play Beat the Clock every day trying to get it all done.
Sir assured me that there's no way on earth they'd move me to another store. Management assured
us that there's no way on earth that we could get another employee in the bakery. Mmhmm.
I'll relax when I meet my

goals in EF and savings.
