How is your day Today, plans and achievements 2024....

Another long day.... Getting my home in Florida ready to sell. Paint touch up, pressure washing, new kitchen faucet, trimming hedges, etc in the past week, and still stuff to do. Now that I'm alone I try to keep busy. Realtors will stop in next week and hope to get that ball rolling.

Thank you HL... that's really appreciated. All the time I painted it in the past I did it wrong.. according to the Soon2bx.. couldn't do anything right in the garden tbh... and now I have the arthritis in my hands and I had to rush the job , I was thinking while I was painting just how much he would be criticising my work.. so it's a pleasure to hear other people say it looks fine.. 🤗
 
I was able to sleep last night, no knee pain, so I'm feeling better today. More awake, anyway.

Dio asked me to pass along a "thank you", for all of the birthday wishes. He spent the day doing things like changing the oil on the car, bleaching the window air conditioner, mowing, etc. For him, a productive day is a good day.

I've spent a good part of my morning resizing pictures and putting them in gifyu, for a future post.

The rest of my day was spent with my Mom. First, we went to Wal-Mart. After that it was back to her house where I paid her bills and did misc

I spent a good bit of time clearing off unnecessary files, photos and videos from my phone and managed to free up 27 gigs. Before trashing them I had to crop sensitive areas of documents temporarily stored in Google Docs (because I couldn't screenshot them on my PC to put them on my external drives). I did this because after trashing documents and photos they stay in Google's trash for 60 days and in case I ever lost my phone I wouldn't want anyone to have access to information on those documents. I finally had to use my Mac to take screenshots and get the documents onto my drives.

I was also looking for a particular set of audio files that I thought were in one of my Google Doc accounts. If I can't find them I'll have to transfer them into Google again from the audio files in my phone. I did transfer some videos into Google photos. In addition I made a couple of business calls, cleaned up my kitchen, Swiffered and straightened up in the living/dining area

Goodness, he sounds inadequate and it is a shame that his shadow is still looming over you. When next you find yourself thinking those negative thoughts, remind yourself of just how strong you are - you have coped with a lot in the past and you are coping with a lot now - tell his ghost to do one, his opinion really doesn't matter anymore. ❤️:)
 
Slept almost six hours, again needing a Xanax after midnight. Got up 4:30 am, a decent hour, way better than 2 am!

Been informed by text/email that I have a Zoom meeting with therapist at 11 am. I had forgotten, everything's been so crazy lately, but settling down.

I need some courage today. I'm trying to drop a bad habit which will remain nameless for now. Feel hopeful today will be ok! I must prevail. Dropping by SF throughout the day a major help in my life. Thanks, as @Georgiagranny would say, thanks "invisipeeps." Love that word, GG

Hi, kids! I have to admit that sleeping "late" is nice.

First up today is some gardening because it's been neglected for days. Shame on me. When that's done, there are those lower cabinets that need tending to.

Early evening, like 5-ish, we're going to DGS's house to celebrate his 26th birthday.

@Trish I have a mental picture of a giant mouse with a cold🐁:ROFLMAO:
 
Just now washed my dishes from last night because I could not stand that long last night. I always wake up with enthusiasm to start the day and get a lot of things done. Does not last through the whole day though. Making 4 more batches of keto replacement shakes which I use for ice cream. It is something I look forward to on these hot days. I have a grocery delivery from Walmart coming sometime between 11-1. My bunny boy needed more food. Coffee now while I make the shakes.
 
Did some wallpaper stripping first thing this morning then went for a walk in the park with eldest son's dog. Youngest son and grandson are coming round in about an hour to finish off stripping the bits I can't reach, so am having a break. Might go and sit outside for a while and take in some sunshine as it's beautiful day here. 😎
 
Sun is out now, but the garden is still soaked.. the lawns are soaked... so unless it dries out i won't be finishing the fences today...

This morning I added handles to my chests of drawers...I have these type of drawers, and they are heavy to open , so because of my OA it's difficult to open them.. hence my genius idea of adding handles..:D

Still having trouble with HIS lawyers. They unbelievably are still not replying to my lawyer... She's mailed them, phoned them.. and still no reply.... I just never knew this could happen.. so it looks like we're definitely having to go to court now, and drag him before a judge.. but it's going to take 2 years..:(

Yes I know Pinks... I just don't understand the reason behind it. It's so unprofessional. If he doesn't want to co-operate to his own lawyers that's one thing, but they should be pro enough to reply to my lawyers calls, or emails and say they're having a problem getting responses from him..if that's the case.. . I mean , they are actively avoiding her. Last Wednesday she phoned them due to their refusal to answer emails.. they made excuses why they couldn't talk to her , said they would return her call on friday... they didn't... so this is whole month now with no response from his lawyers..
