I'll be continuing to move some things upstairs in getting ready to have the downstairs painted, finally.

This won't be for a week or two. Hope it will be ok outside to move my houseplants out onto the deck. The painters will move the big stuff.

So gloomy today 54F, slight chance of rain.

Cloudy,,light rain which appears will be here all day.

Hubby , dog & I sitting around , wondering what to do today.

Yesterday ,Hubby & I went to craft show which was outside in the rain.
We didn't take an umbrella,, so ended up a bit damp.

Didn't buy anything as we hurried along dodging umbrellas.

Good to read that most of our southern posters have let us know they are OK. 🥰

It's been a rough 2 days. Mac man came , did all the cleaning, removals, updating, etc...then left without telling me he'd wiped my Email addresses out..

Tried to get my hotmail addy back but Microsoft want a load of security qustions answered to get back in, because I forgot the password.. i haven't had to use the password in years.. so I answered all the security questions that I would have replied to 20 years ago when i first got the address.. and 24 hours later they said no.. they weren;t accepting my answers, and I couldn't have the Email address reinstated.

I'm furious, that is my primary email address.. it has all my legal correspondence in it... I;m just astounded they can do this.

When I called the repair man back and asked him what I should do, he shrugged and said.. ''Microsoft are beggars for doing this, they're very strict.. you'll just have to make a new email address.''.

Well that's not the point, I already have secondary email addresses.. the hotmail one has all my important emails in files there... just beyond belief..I'm as angry at the repair guy for not telling me in advance what he was going to do...as I am at Microsoft...

Aside from that I;ve spent inordinate amount of time getting back all my settings.. for example.. everything was working the opposite way to how I use them, mouse scrolling going backwards. sound gone.. loads of stuff...to have to fix...

I'm not very well today.. and with the news of my hotmail address and all of it;s content gone.. I was very weepy when I was talking to my DD on the phone about it all...

Silly, but I don't know if I've caught something from someone maybe that guy yesterday.. but I just can't get warm, despite wearing several layers.. it's 57 degrees.. and I've had to put the little fan heater on right next to me.. blinding headache earlier , the whole 9

On the bright side it;s sunny despite being cold...

Today is not working for me. At least, not yet.

First, I slept in, so now I'm groggy.

Next, messenger went wonky and refused to work. Eventually, I had to uninstall it, then reinstall it. All the while....

Messenger seems to be working now, but it's different. I'm wondering if maybe it needed to be updated. Whatever!

Maybe later I'll come back to check up on everyone.

For now, I just wanted to say

The breakfast dishes have been washed with no damage to my manicure (rubber gloves). My clothes have been changed to grubbies so that weeds can be pulled. That was an hour ago. Then I started playing solitaire on my laptop. Um...somebody light a fire under my lazy arse🔥!

Welp. thanks ggranny for the sausage gravy & biscuits, I needd
that!!!....I just finished a shower, without falling, so that's a plus...
I notice I'm very nervous, fearful, whatever since those 2 falls this week./.....now I'm being extremely cautious about going out
to feed the birds, and even walking around the house....dont like being this nervous.....;)

@hawkdon

Please look into getting a shower chair.
One time, I was cleaning the shower, slipped & fell. That really hurt!
Anyway, do consider a shower chair, and perhaps also a grab-bar (not one with suction pads).

Pinky I do have a shower chair, been using it for many years,

Yesterday afternoon, Saturday, at the Pacifica Fog Fest (art/food/music street festival, a 45 mile drive, 2 blocks from ocean), much enjoyed a talented Led Zeppelin tribute band, and other bands on 2 stages. And yes was rather foggy with temp about 60F. Anything neon colored glows in the mid day fog light. Not as big a street festival as other recent weekend events I've gone to but still lots of people ~30,000 each day.

Today Sunday with same nicely cool foggy weather, is a second list of bands with a psychedelic rock band, 2 pop rock blues covers bands, plus Steely Dan and Prince tribute bands. 2 much fun for an old d guy.

10:30am PDT now so about time for me to get on the road.

Finally got my skinny backside out of first gear and got out to the garden where a few weeds met their demise and two Persian shields got transplanted to a spot where I wanted to see how they'll look there next summer.

Nails not damaged! Time for the second coat.

I wanna go somewhere, but there's nowhere to go...well, nowhere that doesn't cost money. There's a place close to us where there's ziplining and stuff, and I'd go except...Friday night there was a shooting there and two police officers were shot! Um. It's been there for about 10 years. Ten years ago it was a very safe neighborhood. It isn't now. Is there anywhere that's safe anymore? Nopity nope!

After "Sunday School", I cleaned the pole light. It seems to attract an enormous amount of spiders and dead bugs. I have to wash the panes, dry them and reposition them. I also finally tackled cleaning the north side of the garage.

nice job Deb....oooh how I envy you all that space between you and your neighbours... That's the drawback of living on a tiny overpopulated island, most of us live cheek by jowl... I have a 2 feet brickwall between me and the next door neighbour... and fortunately 18 feet between me and the next door neighbour the other side... most people here don't have that much space between them and their neighbours, even tho' I know its small to many Americans.. Canadians..and Australians , who don't live in the city...

Better than at my former house. There there was hardly 10 feet between the house on the south side - a little more on the north.
I know i remember ..but that said... it was huge inside, like a big old Western Saloon bar, is how I always thought of it......come to think of it, I bet you're pleased you don't have neighbours now like you had back there...

yesterday ....as well as having the Apple Mac butcher of Fleet street here working on my computer, I got the laundry done, and hung out again.. cuz it was sunny and warm.. it was dry by the time the blokey left here...

I think now I'll have to look at replacing my tumble dryer now that I've decided agaist moving for a while. I've got my abdominal Surgery in just over 2 weeks as well.. so I'll be instructed not to lift or stretch.. altho' I don't know if I can get a dryer before then, because the one I have now is fitted into the kitchen units and it's smaller than the average size dryer.. and they're pretty hard to come by and the Brand that I have which is a very good make have gone out of business.. the other smaller ones on sale by other brands have bad reviews..

Ours are close. They weren't bad until our old neighbor built a carport right on the line.
I grew a natural fence. Hardly know they're there until I see it from the street.
