How many Cards do you have in your wallet/purse?

Back in early December, out in the early throng of Christmas shoppers, I narrowly avoided becoming the fifth vehicle, of a four car collision, rear end shunts from not paying attention. The police were on the scene almost immediately. I was asked a few questions. "Yes Officer, I saw the brake lights," "yes, I did come close, but avoided touching the vehicle in front of me." "Do I have my driver's licence?"

In my wallet is the credit card size licence with all my details embedded in the chip. Also in my wallet is the driver's licence that I was issued with over sixty years ago, they have been withdrawn for the best part of fifty years. I nonchalantly produced it. The police officer was so amused that he got his phone out and photographed it. I then produced the correct licence which he scanned. But he was still smiling as he went back to his car.

In a RFID metal business card holder, I have DL/medical, 2 credit cards, 1 bank card.

In my purse which is also RFID, the cards are Costco, library, and bus pass. I rarely need these.

All store cards or loyalty are on my phone. I’m thinking of putting a low limit CC on Apple Pay for emergencies.

"How many Cards do you have in your wallet/purse?"

Usually just 3. Debit card; credit card; driving license card.

I don't usually seem to have any cards in my wallet, which is probably why I spend so much time trying to find them.

Several years ago I became a minimalist when it concerns my wallet. All I have now is driver's license and medical insurance card for two reasons. If I lose the wallet I have only two cards to replace, and once I fell into the lake up to my waste while fishing and will have less to dry out if it happens again.

Altho' I have a lot as posted above...I don't take all this out with me. I. keep the majority in a Wallet at home.. and take out just the ones I'lll need, with an extra just in case one fails for any reason. I always take my driving licence and the store loyalty cards.. but usually just a debit card and one CC
