How much time each day do you spend on online?

My habit is about the same as Aunt-Bea's....And that's likely too much ?.

To be honest, before arthritis...probably 10-15 minutes, many more enjoyable things to do, but life changes......:(

About an hour a day, unless I'm doing work-related chores, like balancing books, taxes, etc. Then, it can run to 3-4 hours in a day.

Some people do spend too much time on line

other people never go off line

but who's to say how much is to much?

This is the only forum I use and I never play online games but I know they're good for exercising your memory. I like Olivia's suggestion about joining a Chess community. I know how to play in real life and enjoy it so that's half the battle. Lately, I've been playing real life Scrabble with my daughter (4 times). She always beats me but she cheats...lol.

Oh, recently I started going to a forum called "city-data" (people there are always civil) for my local area because it's good shared information for best services, doctors, events, etc. but I haven't lingered there like I do here in SF. I read what others are saying here and often learn something about people, places, things. Plus it's fun.

My one regular time is right after breakfast each morning. I bring my coffee cup into the study and get online to officially start the day. It's a nice, leisurely way to begin.

After that, I check in whenever I get the chance. Never added it up in hours, though.

I do like this forum and several online games that I play every day. Wakes up my brain.

Not very much. I only have 3 gig on my cell phone. Sometimes I borrow a wifi-hot spot from my local library.
I do not have regular internet service; providers in my area charge exorbitant prices if you only want internet. Of course they will do a package; which reduces the price of the internet; but is ridiculous expensive for someone who does not watch TV*. (I do even have a TV.)

*I wait until shows are released on DVD and borrow them from the library.

My computer is connected to a large TV screen so I love to read books online (Kindle). I can make the letters huge, and I don't have to hold a book in my hands thus squenching my neck and shoulders all day. It's great! I also play RPGS so I guess I'm on here most the time.

Since i've had my last surgery i am limited to housework. So, i find i'm on the computer 24/7. But, there is so much one can search and the time just seems to go. Hubby and i do take a small walk around few times a week, except winter months.

i am off and on several times a day i jump up and do a few chores when i get tired i set then i do a few more things this goes on all day till dinner time then i set and surf
