How My Work Order Went

Today I finally heard back from the manager here re the worrk order I gave him and the maintenance guy. Turns out no kitchen. His insinuation was that they would wait till I moved out which I took to mean that I died. I will get the sink stopper, however. Yaaah me!

I also will get a new electric strip heater in my bedroom, and they are going to discuss the hot water heater. As far as any thing else, no go.

So I'm kinda pissed, but I understand it's better to be pissed off than to be pissed on...


Thoughts anyone?
 

No priorities here given. Once you say no they take you off the list and say "Next."
 
Well most of the replies in your thread about should you move were yes, move because your apartment is in such disrepair and the other place seemed nice. I take it you decided not to make the move (or lost the opportunity), so now you have to deal with whatever comes (or does not come) with the apartment you're in. Seems like to me you are being p*ssed on because you are being offered (IMO) unsuitable alternatives to the repairs you need to have done. :cautious:
 
Is it possible to transition to a newly refurbished apartment within your building, at a higher price.

That is quite common where I live.

Iā€™ve thought about doing it myself to get a ground floor apartment but Iā€™m just not ready for the expense and hassle of a move.
