How often do you take a shower?

It really kind of depends. On active days, especially in the heat of summer, it could be as many as 3 showers a day. On those, "I don't feel like doing nuthin" days probably not.

He said he ‘used’ to which means past tense.

I used to shower every morning but now some days I shower late afternoon or evening.
This morning is one of those days. I’m currently doing laundry and have the dish washer going. Our water supply can handle me showering now ; it’s my excuse so I’m going with it. The meds I take suck the life out of me at times.
 
I try to shower at least twice a day. I like to feel the satisfaction of seeing my athletic 78 yr old naked body in the mirror and feel the smooth soapy water as it runs along my muscular arms and legs. I love to think as I shower how many sexy 80 yr old women would just die (or come close to dying) to run their small loving arthritic hands over my masculine mass of muscles.

Sometimes while the hot water pours over my broad and well sculpted shoulders I just let out a Tarzan-like yell, and envision a sleek young, tanned, long-haired, athletic-looking Jane type woman smile with glee as the deep manly animal-like sound of my yelling travels through her psyche, making her entire body shake with appreciation. I think maybe from now on I'll try to get in 3 times a day.

We do not have a shower, or batch tub, or a hot water heater. Haven't for goin' on 5 years now. We sponge bathe in a kiddie pool in the summer, and get our wood stove cookin and sponge bathe in the winter. Once or twice in between. We will wash good before being seen by a doctor also. Heat water for dishes often. Do laundry in town , about $40 every 4 months.
