I am feel ashamed tonight

it was a pretty good day although there was one thing I can't get off my mind. I talk about being the kind of person that won't just stand by while someone needs help. I don't want to say to myself "someone will take care of it", but today, I saw my own, true colors.

I was in a store, a health-food store, like that matters, and the cashier was a young gal, real cute, about 20ish I guess. We are talking and I see she has a nose-boogie:( I so wanted to tell her and I don't know why I didn't:sosad:Why didn't I, I just didn't know what to say dang it. A friend is easy, hey, you have a booger in your nose so get rid of it or I ain't goin no where with you, let alone sit and talk to you with it hangin in there. But no, I just couldn't do it. I'm so weak:nose-pick:Ok, so any feedback/advice welcome should I run into this again?? denise
 

Hand the person a kleenex and say "You need to take a second...you have something on your nose". Or just say "You have something on your nose." or "you need to look in the mirror with a tissue."

The exact "booger" word isn't necessary.

Don't be so hard on yourself.:)
 
LOL, ok, I'll stop beating myself up, but, it is lie to tell them "on their nose" when it's obviously "in their nose" isn't it??

That's no big deal, IMHO. Now if they were dying of thirst and you were sucking down a 10-liter Coke, THEN you could feel bad ...
 
All I can think of to say is............WHAT??????? Or, as a friend told me once when I told him that something like this happened to me........"get a life, dude!" Have to admit that it did sound pretty silly of me to be wondering "why didn't I say/do something?"

but a piercing shows on the outside too! No, it was a boogie I'm pretty sure. I'm over it, not feeling guilty at all now:lofl:I mean, the way the world is changing, it could be a new fad, ya know. Like if you get lucky to have one stick "in place" you get to wear it all day??
 
You guys are too serious, this was supposed to make you laugh. I guess my "one woman show" for Saturday night just didn't go over:( You can bet I will be back:lofl:

Brings back memories to me as a kid
Was at dentist and while he was examining me this thing was dangling from his nose.He kept poking out his upper lip to stop it dropping on my face.All these years and I can still remember the feeling Makes my shudder YUCK !!!!!
 
oh my gosh, I wake up to this today, LOLLLLLL! Oh lord, and you all helpless, I can see it now, LOL!!

No way, I just scratched the surface of the topic. I can go into a lot more detail, but I like to encourage folks to use their imaginations:lofl: Ok Jim, put your hands over your ears and start singing "yellow submarine" or wait, that's only works with audio, not text. Ok, just be aware of threads that start with "I'm ashamed" or "I feel bad" That's a clue there, LOL!
 
I'm trying to think of a snappy comment for that, but I'm coming up empty. I've got retorts for lots of things, but boogers in the nose just isn't on the list.
 
It's not a "hot topic", in fact, I feel you are more mentally fit then I am to not have more to add, LOL!!
