I am going to be a great grandfather in November

My first great grandchild will arrive in November of this year. She will be named Charlotte Francis.

LOL, I am still getting used to this idea.

How many of you folks have great grandchildren?

We've got 4, and it's a bunch of fun to be around them. We've got one GGdaughter staying with us this weekend, and she is really keeping us busy. Our oldest just turned 16, and the youngest will be 8 next month.

Three years ago the first GG arrived; I’ve only seen her once because of the travel issues. I do see her online photos and feel like I know her. Another is expected this year.

I have 3 Great Grandsons by my oldest Grandson, ages 5 1/2, 2 1/2 and 6 months. They are my heart and fortunate for them to live only 25 minutes away. I hate that their Papa is not here to enjoy them.

She lives on the West Coast, but I plan on moving out there in the next couple of years. Right now, we are in "lock down" as far as travel.

What do they call you? LOL, I cannot seem to get very enthused about being referred to as "Grandpappy." It sounds so ancient.
