I found something I absolutely HATE!

I just have one more thing to add about my new Maytag top loader that I can't soak in. My son was tired of me complaining and decided to try and trick it into filling. It seems it goes by the weight of the cloths as to how much water it will squirt out to wash the clothes. He filled 4 gallon jugs and placed them in the empty washer. We turned it on figuring it would think that it was the weight of the clothes. It was a good thing we were standing there because it squirted the desired amount of water for the weight but then started to spin as it does constantly while you wash the clothes. On top of that the darn thing locks automatically. We had to shut the whole thing off and still had no water in the tub. I'm going back to the scrub board.

I know! I’m quite good at innocently insulting people. :lofl:

Anyway, my washer is FIXED. The service man instantly found the leaky value. My husband bought the part , replaced it and my washer works again. MUCH MUCH better. :yes:
Thank you all for allowing me to vent momentarily.
