I got the high dose flu shot on Friday and now I have the flu. Funny how that works. I heard about this happening to other people, but it’s the first time it happened to me.I was offered the regular dose COVID and high dose flu... I took both.
so no aspirin, tylenol, mylanta, pepto bismol, etc. ?Nope, any medications or stuff like that is advertised on tv isn't going in my body.
Not those, they are OTC. I'm talking about things like Ozempic, vaccines and other things with strange names and the dangerous side effects.so no aspirin, tylenol, mylanta, pepto bismol, etc. ?
I am impressed a senior doesn't need any of that!

I never heard of that either.Until now, I didn't know they had low (or standard) dose and high dose on vaccines. People already have trouble deciding whether to vaccinate, and which vaccines to take - now they have to decide on the strength of the dose.
I try to watch what I eat, which negates the necessity of taking mylanta, pepto bismol etc. Tylenol is (IMO) little more than a placebo, I think a sugar tablet would work better. I avoid NSAIDs like the Bubonic Plague, as they increase risk of heart attack and stroke, plus they make the skin wounding on my arms much worse.so no aspirin, tylenol, mylanta, pepto bismol, etc. ?

Yes, but the incubation period for the flu is 1-4 days. I inferred from BT's comment that the vaccine might have cause the flu.I believe it takes about 2 weeks before the flu shot becomes effective.
