I think this would go in a social issue "Black Friday"

I had to run in to Walmart today to get an OTC med that my dog has to take for her skin allergies. I was dreading it and kicking myself for not going on Tuesday or Wednesday, but when I got there there were really no more people in there than usual for morning, and I got a parking spot right in front. I commented on it to a clerk, and she said it had been that way ever since they opened and they didn't understand it either. A case of more and more people ordering online? Or of people not wanting to deal with crowds? I found it kind of strange. No lines at the registers either.

I did the same here hearlady, although I did cook a Thanksgiving dinner for those that had to work the holiday and missed Thurday’s dinner.
I too shopped online for Christmas presents. It’s all about the great-grandchildren now for me. Still it was fun.

In spite of the media pushing Black Friday, and all the advertising, I gather that the crowds were pretty sparse this year. Many more people are shopping online.

So maybe it's still Black Friday with reduced prices, but you don't have to be physically there.

So far, I have had a great time shopping online. I think one thing took longer than it should have, but I wasn't that bothered by it. I like shopping online because too many times, the stores are out of what I want. I can almost always find it online. Right now looking for some Knee-high boots for Winter, and haven't found what I want, yet;)

I think those videos are probably old (and the photos). I live in such a small town, that I either have to drive 2 hours, or order online;)
