If you know god, then what?

If there is a God, he's outside the universe. Remember the universe has a start date (unless it's a revolving universe). I would think, maybe.
Some people believe that, I'm beginning to think God IS the universe. Theoretical physicists have a lot of interesting theories, but little to no evidence to support them.

I worship MARS, the god of WAR! It seems mankind is addicted to wars from the time Cain killed Abel to WW 2. Sometimes I think we have been going ahead without big wars like WW 2. I'm 90 now and would like to see WW 3 before I pass on!

find me other planets with perhaps other life forms then perhaps we can discuss more - one planet - one associated God doesn't seem plausible
you were created by what? whom? Not your human birth but your creation. Who or what decided your creation. Who or what determined all the ingredients that brought you to life?????????????? God isn't plausible?

I was watching a video the other day, forget which - but one of the guests was saying that what we're seeing in the world today is the undoing of everything that was achieved post World War II. Everything that brought about detente is being undone, driving us to more conflict. We're unwinding our progress.

I know this wasn't asked of me, but despite that - creation doesn't require a "whom", a "creator" or conscious decision to be. It's just complex interactions of atoms, chemicals, and what we call mother nature. There was no who or what, it just was.

To believe there is a God that the bible describes as making heaven & earth via these Genesis 1:1-11,Genesis 9,Ephesians 4:17-24. Then it would be impossible for that sentient being that is billions of years old to be inside our universe.

Lets say for example you want to make a box.

You have to be outside that box to make it.

It's difficult. The Universe isn't exactly growing. It's not moving into empty space. Instead, it's expanding. That can be thought of as stretching internally. The idea that we're growing into something - something beyond the universe - is, as far as we know, incorrect. We're simply stretching.

God is outside religion. Religion is man made. It is an attempt to understand what we don't understand and to be frank, can't understand. They all fail in that regard. Smart, intelligent, spend their lives trying to determine truth, our origins, our reason for being here. Much is very thought provoking , all lacks the acceptance that we were created by God and he alone knows the answers to all the questions. He alone.
I AM, as he says.
Debate, argue, confront. Write books about what you have discovered in other human writing. Determine that you have discovered the truth. Shout it out, hold seminars. Create another religion based on your hard efforts. Entice other believers who shake their heads yes in agreeing with you. Create a whole new belief system like so many have done in the past.
Then find out you didn't know him at all. Here's the funny thing about all this. It is very simple. Come to him, bow your head to your creator in humility, really true humility and watch what happens.
Simple but very hard.
Near impossible
. we were created by God in his image and we believe that we are like him. We are Gods. ..............We are not! we are his creation.

please explain the universe to me. please explain your very existence.

the odds of that happening?

That belief is generally called pantheism, where God is immanent-- present in everything.
A competing belief is panentheism, where there is the universe with God apart from it. God is transcendent.

Personally I vacillate between the two, but I tend toward pantheism.

I am more comfortable with that. Religions that believe in deities can't all be right, but they could certainly all be wrong.

I see creation as being real, that requires a God, as such I believe God is real. Religions are messy, and fraught with self-serving doctrine.

Edit: Just for the record: I am a Christian, in the sense that I believe in Jesus and His teachings. Some Groups within Christianity have strayed, and like to call themselves "Christian", but don't really embrace the teachings of Christ. Jesus foresaw that.

I like to listen to Christian music every day in the background. However, I do NOT believe there is a living being who is "god." If there is a being we could call a "god," then there must be millions of gods.

Homo Sapiens is merely one species of animal and lives for a while and then totally disappears by dying. If "Heaven" really existed, there would be billions of beings there which makes no sense to me.

Christian music is uplifting to me so I listen to it every day but I do NOT believe there are any living beings we could call a "God."
