Imagine the garden woven in lies and false truths

We are born, we live and we die. I do not truth from lies because they come across as one, the same. How do know truth when time casts its spell that forms a slight blemish. Now the truth is tarnished and we accept the lie as truth. Ever-so-slightly altering the truth makes truth obsolete and untrustworthy.
I propose, there is no truth as it has been buried from conscience reality.

Have you been reading Nietzsche again? o_O

Truth is a noun. All nouns are just words assigned to some concept that may be concrete or abstract. The abstract concepts are harder to understand but nevertheless they stand for something recognisable, even if it is a fantasy, created by the mind.

I don't think truth is a fantasy.
No, it's just that, for example, HItler's truth was not Churchill's truth.

:) I don't understand what you are asking me, Paco Dennis.
But I meant to say that communication --mutual understanding of the meanings of words --is tricky. Sometimes we only see our own truth.

Is there anything that all humans agree is the "truth".? Yea, a few things...or at least REAL close. Like "All living things die." or another way of describing truth is "What are the facts?" We have big "Truth's", and a lot of small "truths". I am 100% in agreement about the mutual understanding
of the meanings of words --is tricky. It seems very important to me to be patient and thoughtful when discussing meaningful topics. It isn't easy to come to agreements. I am not sure it is necessary, but we tend to have our ego's bound up in how we think/feel and then the meaning exchange kinda dies. I am not sure that is necessary. There are many truths/facts, no reason to believe that I have put them together in some
auspicious way. :)

I said imagine, which is verb

I like you. You're funny.
When post on a universal forum such as SF, specify who you like/ is funny so I may be credited with your kind gesture. If you are referring to someone different than me, that’s ok, it wasn’t meant for me after all.
I like you too, however long distant relationships seldom workout. Haha.

Imaging that truths are lies, is asserting that the facts one is referring to are not facts and not reliable/provable.?

I rest my case

:) Even 'All living things die' can be a lie to someone who is thinking, 'Not me, I'm a Christian, I'll live forever, THERE are your facts.' The moment he perceives your 'lie' he suspends any trust in you.
But yes, our ego is necessary, it's essential to our health, we have to make concessions for it in everyone.

If there is no truth, then all convicted murderers can be set free from prison today. We'll just hope for the best with them and hope they don't murder again.

If there is no truth, I can steal your house. Your deed is useless and does not prove your ownership of your house at all. Are you ready to become like the native Americans, dragging your teepee with you from place to place, along with your tribe?

If there is no truth at all, send the Supreme Court home. They have no jobs anymore.
