Israeli October 7 posterchild was killed by Israeli tank, eyewitnesses reveal

I deny the truth of what either side is pushing. But, some people do only believe one side.
Are you a Holocaust denier? Asking for a friend. Or is even that honest question going to be offensive to you and you'll think you're being "attacked" again? I'll pre-empt that... I'm not attacking. I am, however, trying to figure out why you put a laughing emoticon on my post about terrorists not hesitating to kill a baby for propaganda purposes... can't figure out what the devil would make *anyone* think that was funny.

You want to fight too?
I'm a native New Yorker. If we ever get in a fight only one of us walks away. It won't be you. Hugs, and don't get upset. You did start a controversy, so now you must take what goes with that. I trust your heart Paco; I consider it in all you profess.

Same here with you. Let's try not to make this personal. I was playing with you as a sister....brothers and sisters sometimes fight. I would never want that with you. I am sorry.

It is horridly comical that the embellished stories and unfounded accusations keep getting worse and worse every time something is talked about. I don't have any idea why the Holocaust is even mentioned. Fabrications of stories is a major reason wars continue, and I will not stand by and watch more lies upon lies be published.

Oh my. I sure as **** do not see anything comical in these events. But I guess I just need to consider the source...

You don't seriously? Think about it. But in the meantime, I'd love an answer... did it happen or was it fabricated? Oh, and I'd also like an answer about why you laughed at the thought of a group like Hamas not killing a baby for propaganda... deflection is not cool.
Fabrication of events is not only dangerous, but needs to be laughed off the stage totally.

I've noticed our dear friend has not answered this direct question. So I'm guessing he is in fact a denier.

On a lighter note........The IDF MAY be planning to flood the Hamas tunnel system with millions of gallons of sea water. By doing this , the IDF would be permanently denying Hamas the opportunity to reuse the more than 800 kilometers of underground passageways found so far in Gaza. Simple but effective.

However, since the bulk the drinking water for Gaza comes from aquifers, there's a real concern that all that salt water will make their drinking water unusable. Will Israel fix that problem if they cause it?

Sorry, but implying that someone is Schizophrenic is a pretty low blow.

I suppose the Palestinian muslims could ask their neighbours in Saudi Arabia, Syria, Lebanon, Iran, Iraq, the UAE, Egypt, Jordan, Quatar, and all the other muslim controlled countries around the world for bottled water. I will point out that the UN has been sending in truck loads of bottled water to Gaza for 2 months now. Israel is at war with these terrorists, and the IDF has made it quite clear that Gaza will be reduced to a wasteland. Filling the tunnels with salt water is a way to deny their use to Hamas. JimB.

Question: If the tunnels are flooded & if that causes undrinkable water, why should Israel have to fix it? They did not start this war ... they are trying to end it once & for all. Destroying the tunnels used by terrorist is part of taking Hamas out. These are tunnels that are being used to kill.

Just my thought, but the ones who should be rebuilding are the Palestinians. If the able body males were busy fixing what they caused to be destroyed, maybe they wouldn't have time to rape & murder. Sadly, that won't ever happen.

Most people today do not know that Muslim attacks on Jews in Palestine go back to the early 1920's. Yes the 1920's through to the end of the 1940's. This is a recent article that sets out in detail who, where, why, how, and when this happened. The article is well worth reading if you really want to understand the current situation in Gaza. The article is long, but well worth reading to the end.

After reading the article, I think the only thing that has changed has been the date. Unbelievable the hate that has been festering for so long & continues to do so.

Human decency? Compassion towards the thousands who had nothing to do with the October 7 attack? Compassion for the thousands of children still alive and suffering?

I understand how so many here are completely aligned with the Israeli's. What happened on October 7th was horrible beyond. belief and I can't imagine how terrible it was for those people who were taken. My heart goes out to all of them, alive and dead.

But where every talking head starts every conversation with 'do you condemn what Hamas did', I am wondering, does anyone condemn how Israel has treated those people every day, every night, for years? Has anyone ever wondered what it must be like to put your children to bed at night, only to hear pounding on the door at 2 AM and have a platoon of soldiers shove your whole family into a room together while they live in your house for a week, and being cruel and unkind and going through and breaking all your things? Has anyone thought what it would be like to be a labouring mother who is stopped at a checkpoint long enough for your newborn to die?

I understand being more supportive of one then the other, but does that mean we no longer have the barest sympathy for others because they aren't our favourite?

Into that equation, in fairness, factor in that the Israeli's also massacred Palestinians starting in those early days.

At Deir Yassin in 1948, 100 people, whole families in a village were massacred by the Irgun and Stern Gang, led by Menachem Begin and Yitzhak Shamir who went on the become prime ministers of Israel. All told, 800 Palestinian villagers died in the process of Israel 'becoming a nation'. Those deaths were the incentive for 7 million to flee the country, losing everything and never being allowed to return to their homes.

And the many hundreds of deaths of Palestinians since then in both the West Bank and Gaza. Not to mention those hundreds who were never charged or convicted but were locked up in military prisons where they are abused and violated for years.

At Sabra and Shatilla in 1982, Lebanon's paramilitary killed at a minimum 400 (some accounts say up to 3600) Palestinians and Ariel Sharon's soldiers guarded the entrances to the camp so that none could escape.

It isn't unbelievable that the hate on both sides has festered for so long. But it can end if only the powerful decided it was time to end. Arafat and Rabin almost got them there. Northern Ireland is an example of an occupied 'nation', at war for decades with it's occupier and yet they finally found peace which is why they speak for the Palestinian people. Same with S. Africa, who lived under the similar oppression. So change is possible.

You truly are ill informed and only seeing what you want to see.

Guess they shouldn’t have let Hamas take over their country! Did you see the Palestinians celebrating on October 8th? Guess they shouldn’t have poked the bear. He’s finally had enough. Every single death and injury is 100% on Hamas!
