What is a little thing that annoys you even though you know it shouldn't?:mad:
 

Authors who feel that they have to use fifty words when five will do.

You know......the sun can't just "rise", it has to "explode into flame with a heart-rending array of myriad colors, staining the sky like a rainbow superimposed on one's retina while one's heart bursts with the glory of it and time has no meaning....." I'm partial to a good turn of phrase as much as any one else, but c'mon, some of these people must be getting paid by the word!

I'll pick up a novel, get to page ten and know already that I'll be annoyed by the writing.
 
Oh,unsolicited calls. And relative strangers, often younger than me, who insist on calling me "Hon" or "sweetheart". I just have ONE sweetheart, and it is not the cashier at the grocery store.
 
When you're in line to check out at a store and the cashier hits on you to contribute to some charity. Can't they just have a receptacle ? Do they have to ask out loud in front of everyone thereby pressuring you to contribute whether you want to or not or look like a cheapo if you don't.

The one that annoys me is our local Dollar General.

At Christmas they ask for a dollar so they can donate one of their items to charity, I guess charity begins at home, LOL!!!
 
I hate it when you go through the self check out at the grocery store and there is a line because someone is self checking a huge buggy load of groceries. It's suppose to be for just a few items! And another thing, when you are scanning your few items and someone has to be right up your backside waiting for you to finish. I told one young man one day ...."I will be out of your way in a minute"!
 
The constant requests for money from the Democratic National Committee. The same ones who double crossed Bernie Sanders when I thought I was contributing to a fair minded organization.
 
I don't know where to start, because so many things annoy me now.
Political calls over and over again
Unsolicited calls
Robo calls
Thank goodness for caller ID.
Rude People
People who visit without notice
And for the last few days a woman I know has been spreading rumors about other neighbors and causing trouble.
 
Shop assistants who carry on talking to each other even tho' they've seen me waiting for service ... their conversation may be important but a quick " be with you shortly" would be appreciated, as then I'd know that I haven't suddenly become invisible
 
People at cash registers that are paying by check and wait until the very last minute to start getting their checkbook out and searching for a pen...sorry,but I always have the check ready and filled out except for the amount...
 
When I'm driving and I'm the "only" one coming and someone pulls right out in front of me and goes under the speed limit. Also people who don't know how to use roundabouts. Oh, and people who text and drive. That's ridiculous!
 
And, don't you hate it when you've noticed that way up ahead, there's obviously roadworks and a closed lane sign, so you pull over into the free lane and some smart areses will drive along side then push their way in front, enough people do this, then you're back where you were 10mins ago grrr!
