It's official I've finally lost my mind !

I guess it's from being quarantined but I realized today that I have officially lost my mind. I never remember what day of the week it is, but I've been doing that from when my husband retired. But today I was watching a show on TV and in one of the scenes the family is having Thanksgiving dinner. I started to think if I had gotten my turkey yet. And if I had gotten all the normal things I make for thanksgiving. I asked my Husband what he thinks we need because it will only be him and I this year having Thanksgiving dinner. He gave me a strange look and I asked him what was wrong. He said to me "Barbara, it's only May now." I thought at first he was crazy until he convinced me that it is May. So yes it is official I have lost my mind.

Gosh, that could be it, too! We are already disoriented, from lack of any normalcy,
and then, there isn't anything current that isn't depressing, so those rerun shows are even more disorienting.
Especially if they're reruns from a decade or more ago. Some of the channels I watch have those. It can be like getting lost in a time-warp.. unintentionally.

Trust me..you will have many good friends helping you start a search party for all of our minds.

I have a feeling Alexa is getting tired of me asking her for the date and time. Last time I swore she said "I am on break, go ask Google"
Remember when what we needed to do to get that information was dial "O" for "Operator" on the phone? :)

I just say thank goodness I have a phone that assures me what day it is:)

The neighbours had their wheelie bins ( Green bin for garden waste ) out yesterday and I thought ....Why in the world do they have their bins out on a Saturday ? ...when the bins not collected till ...Thursday ...
I might have to set my google calendar 📅 to remind me what day it is ,instead of reminding me about birthdays or appointments (y)(y)

:):)so you are not alone @Sassycakes

I’m the same..except I think every day is Monday.
Perhaps we could each pick a day of the week, and stick with it, so we'd have them all covered!
:ROFLMAO:

I thought ....Why in the world do they have their bins out on a Saturday ? ...when the bins not collected till ...Thursday .

For yours, just choose either one, Kadee! ;)

I feel very glad that you brought this topic up for us, @Sassycakes !
I feel better about it now. :)

I never remember what day of the week it is. Sometimes I have to look at my phone to find out. I haven't got to the extreme you have, though you can take consolation in knowing that you started planning Thanksgiving earlier than anyone else, and should have a humdinger of a dinner with 6 months to plan it!
