Fritz, this thread rings back good memories of going to teas at our church when I was a girl. I used to love the mini sandwiches (similar to those in bottom tray below) with colored bread and various colored cream cheese fillings. I also loved the pretty little petit fours. It also reminds me of when, years ago, my sister, my nieces and I went to a tea house the next town over. We dressed for the occasion and it was an enjoyable experience with plenty of treats to choose from.

I could almost reach in and grab one of these. The technology isn't quite there yet though.
 
There is someone at work who makes this sound every time he takes his first sip from a freshly made cup of tea. It puts a smile on my face. The sound he makes is right at the end of this commercial:
