Joan Collins - cannot be 90!

It must be such pressure to never eat what you want, have to exercise, never just relax and let yourself go! I bet she fancies cake or chocolate sometimes but dare not have it.
Her face is so smooth, she looks half her age. She has a fantastic positive attitude.

Island in the Sun (1957) - IMDb
Joan Collins with Stephen Boyd--I forgot how much I loved him too!--in 1957's "Island in the Sun". It was the first time I saw her. One of the movie's themes was Interracial, I recall. Harry Belafonte was also in this movie. I just turned 8 when this movie came out. I went with my Grandma. It was the day Grandma told me about her former husband, Willie the Bum, my grandfather. She lied and said he was dead when he was actually living in a nursing home. I never met him, or knew he was actually alive. I remember the day so well, the walk, the theater, loving the movie and Joan Collins forever. A big fan of Joan Collins since this summer day.

Just saw...Sir Michael Caine is also 90..
Stating he's well-retired..do to mobility.
Always liked him.
How many people on here know what his original family name was ? Micklewhite. When he was first auditioning for movie roles, he legally changed it to Caine, after the big hit film, The Caine Mutiny " . It was a good move on his part. Some British actors stayed with their birth name, such as Peter Postlethwaite. A long and distinguished career with a mouthful of a last name. My favorite UK actress name...Honeysuckle Weeks, a beauty of a woman. JimB.

I have never liked Joan Collins. She always played the rich debutant, and seditious tramp. She plays herself, with not much acting range. Trying to emulate the Marilyn Monroe stereo type. Played parts that parraled her own life.

oan Collins was previously married to Peter Holm (1985 - 1987), Ronald S. Kass (1972 - 1983), Anthony Newley (1963 - 1971) and Maxwell Reed (1952 - 1956).

Joan Collins has been in relationships with Tim (1995), Bill Wiggins (1987), Ryan O'Neal (1971), Warren Beatty (1959 - 1960), Paul Newman (1958), George Englund (1958 - 1959), Ramfis Trujillo (1958), Conrad Hilton (1957), Conrad Hilton Jr. (1957), Arthur M. Loew Jr. (1956 - 1957), Sydney Chaplin (1954 - 1955), Larry Hagman (1949 - 1950), James Hanson, Morgan Mason and Robin Hurlstone (1988 - 2001).

Joan Collins has had encounters with George Hamilton (1986), Mick Flick (1984), Marlon Brando (1959), Jeffrey Hunter (1958), Robert Wagner (1957), Stephen Boyd (1956), Robert Evans (1954), Terence Stamp and Gardner McKay.

He's always been one of my favorite actors since way back in Zulu, his introductory film. And, he is a very good actor too which you cannot say about everyone.

I agree.......and tbf been married to a man almost 40 years her junior, means she gets looked after very well in her old age. Easy to stand in heels for a few minutes on a night out looking glam if you have a strong man to hold you up...

She's the original fake.. long before Dolly Parton, et al... she's always had work done ( altho' she denies having it done to her face).. she's always worn wigs.. no-one and maybe not even her husband knows what her real hair looks like.. big fake lashes... she's always been a B movie actress never an A... and really didn't make herself world wide known and make serious money until she was cast in Dynasty after years of low budget movies..
I like her.. but we've got to be factual.. she's a B grade movie actress who lives a fake life..

It's true. She is not a brilliant actress . But, I have enjoyed her glamorous personality over the years. She's famous for glamour really. She's engaging, witty and interesting. I like her books on beauty and health.
I like divas, larger than life often outrageous stars. Like Zsa Zsa Gabor, who was an ok actress but a fantastic character. Lots of men, money, fabulous lifestyles.
She does look like almost no 90 year old I've ever seen. It must take SO much effort though.

We need characters like her to brighten life up, surely?

I always thought she was pretty but not a great actress. My mom loved her in the movie The Sea Wife.

I'm glad to see what she looks like now because it's not what I would want for myself if I get that old which I doubt I will do but you never know. I hope I can find an anti-aging miracle to share with the world before then. :)

Well, now that you mention it, she could be '89'. ;)

In her younger years she was absolutely stunning in my opinion. I really am not familiar with her acting. I suppose if you make that sort of money and you can afford plastic surgery you can take some of the age off when you are 90.

Oh goody. Another 'I"m that old?' reminder.

Knew who she was but the tv show Dynasty was the last time I remember seeing her with regularity. I remember the media saying she 'revived' her career or found new life in tv back then.
