For those of you out there who regularly watch the News Hour, this is a major event. Not really, but it is a change.
I started watching when the PBS news show was the MacNeil-Lehrer News Hour way back in the '90s. Then MacNeil quit and it became the Jim Lehrer News Hour, and then just the News Hour when Lehrer retired. There was Gwen Eiffel before Judy Woodruff. Now Amna Nawaz and Geoff Bennett are going to co-host. They've been with the News Hour for quite a while. Geoff is a great interviewer.
Judy is going to be doing some special features about American society beginning next year, so that should be interesting. She's 76 years old and still going strong!
