thanks Jules, yes that;s me.He looks so warm and cuddly. I’d be in love too. I’m guessing that is you holding that little bundle of love.
We have a little flock (6) of chickens in the backyard. Our grand-daughter's actually. They haven't been laying too often during these winter months but your message regarding rotisserie chickens rang a bell.Well, today is chilly and cloudy. Rained last night.
Yesterday I craved rotisserie chicken, How do you feel about these chickens?
I don't buy them often; afraid they may be "old", but I love to eat them. Remember when they were 5.99? Now they're 7.99. Doggie and I feasted last night, but I take the skin off hers.
While shopping, I found chicken livers and cooked them right away for my dog. In a few minute, I'll put them through the food processor for her dinner. The rest is in the freezer.
It's amazing how much the cost of food has risen. Have you found yourself not buying certain items as often as before?
Dave, I think you may be onto something......We have a little flock (6) of chickens in the backyard. Our grand-daughter's actually. They haven't been laying too often during these winter months but your message regarding rotisserie chickens rang a bell.
We had one last week and when I was taking in the groceries I thought of taking a detour by the pen with just the cooked chicken dangling from my hand. Maybe a little hint of what might come if they don't get busy with their egg production.
I loved the rotisserie chickens then my SIL ruined it by saying they were the cast off chickens, the bad ones. I decided not to care. They are very convenient in a pinch, and delicious.Well, today is chilly and cloudy. Rained last night.

Love the pictures!Well last night I got to meet the baby. After a hellish drive through Hartford CT and into MA at rush hour and after a minor accident up ahead it took more than an hour.
Her mom is there for a few days, even tho' GS has paternity leave.
I'm so in love with that baby!

I'm with you, HL! In fact, I have another one in the freezer.I decided not to care. They are very convenient in a pinch, and delicious.
@Jules, I never even thought of the steam aspect! I don't make pour over coffee that often and never drink hot tea. Thanks for your compliment.Towards the centre. If it faced out, it would send that hot steam into my cupboard and eventually ruin it.
You have a nice kettle and kitchen.
